Elmo... I like the way you explain the history of each city you visit in addition to an explanation of the food you eat, so that we foreigners when come to Malaysia can understand more about the food and history of the city. Jia you 👍👍
Elmo, to be absolutely honest, I've been hoping, wishing, waiting, and maybe even praying that one day you'd do an episode on the foodie courts and famous individual food stalls of Seremban. Well, this morning my dream has turned into reality. What's more it's come with an unexpected added bonus with an introductory history of this peaceful town - now officially classed as a city! I was born and grew up in Seremban but left to come to the UK many decades ago in my twenties. Many things have changed beyond recognition and yet many still retain their originality e.g. the Catholic Church of The Visitation and the King George V School, both of which institutions I attended regularly before leaving for the UK. Needless to say, the many famous food stalls presented in this video, I tasted regularly in my youth but can only dribble each time I see you putting the goodies in your mouth now. I shall share this video to the many Seremban friends of mine who, like me, are living overseas now and I'm sure they'll all get into a frenzy after seeing this. Many thanks for the video!
Thank you for sharing and enlightening us with the explanation of Seremban's history . I never knew just in 1 place there is so many delicious food . I will definitely make it a point to go there when i pass through Seremban next time . Also the A&W no doubt is an icon but the condition of the place now is in a very dirty and deplorable state. And YES please do a sequel to this episode .. thank you very much !
Ideally, arrive at 7am for those market hawkers (first 3 stalls) in the video. They sellout super fast. There's one super expensive chicken rice in the old town, if not mistaken near one coffin shop. Not bad but very pricey. Got 2 curry laksa very special. 1 in Temiang, got sell pineapple + cincau drink. Last time they were next to a tokong, now move to a proper shop. Nowadays, by 12 pm will sellout. Another one a bit far, in Senawang, a restaurant called Asia. Super popular curry laksa and weekend usually meant long wait. If want to look for place to sit there, charge yr phone battery and rest for a while, Tarot Cafe not bad. Got a lot of variety of food. Only thing is nowadays the food standard dropped quite tremendously.... Seremban is very ideal for short one day trip. Good authentic food available from breakfast till supper. And they have cinema, Starbucks, museum, lake, which u can kill time and let yr stomach digest. Most important, they are not far from KL.
I was brought back to your channel after viewing the Klang BKT video, I especially liked the introduction of the town history, linking it to the good food, shaping the food climate. This is another good piece, you have also added places to visit. I was also surprised by the large diaspora of Hakka here, linking to many of the good food from this dialect grp. Looking forward to more good videos fro you!

Now, her 招牌 is pork sotong meehoon. Thus, to avoid confusing for outside visitor, please 🙏 please edit your video, the list of stalls at the end. And, censor the 雄记 saying while eating the sotong meehoon.
Sorry Wei but I can't edit the video once it's put on UA-cam. Let's hope the audience can recognise her from my video. But in case they mistakenly go to the other, it's fine to give them business too
