I am just seeing this for the first time. It is sad and up lifting at the same time. I felt like crying. I love his voice and how he and his brothers pulled together and gave us so much of themselves with their music.. I never got to see them in concert and pray that one day in heaven I will, God willing.
How brave of Robin to go ahead with the single for the soldiers,it is so sad to see him so ill.It obviously was so important for him to do this despite his failling health.He is such a talented singer with a very unique voice,and no matter what happens with him his music will be around for a very long time.I hope that all his fans out there are praying for him .God bless you Robin.

He is a legend in his own time, and has worked hard for his accomplishments in life; no one "gave" him anything. Unlike Robin, who even deathly ill, is out there promoting this single for charity. Few celebrities are as sacrificing and giving as Robin Gibb.

I wouldn't worry about the negative comments here about their disco years. I've come to realize that what is written in history depends not on the comments of critics and pundits, but on popularity. It takes awhile, but popularity eventually takes over and the critics are left in the dust. The Bee Gees were one of the most popular groups ever. They will have a place in history and they will be worthy of respect. Just takes time.

I cannot imagine how some people have such intense dislike for this fantastic man. I have been a fan of Robin since 1972 when The Bee Gees made a tour in Malaysia. They have made two more appearances in Malaysia during 1973 and 1974. I have know of the Bee Gees music as early as perhaps 1967. Robin has such adorable voice. I regard extremely high of Robin. I've heard today that Robin has liver cancer. I hope and pray he'll make a remarkable recovery. We love you Robin. All the best xoxoxo

You are correct. Robin Gibb died on May 20, 2012 at the age of 62 after a prolonged period of failing health.

Being a fan of the Bee Gees for decades, I am truly saddened that Robin is not well. My prayers are with the Gibb's family and for Robin's full recovery. Robin get well soon. Fight this disease. My brother has liver disease and at death's door in May last year but has since recovered by taking the herbal tea call "the crown's of God). If anyone has Robin's address, I'd like to send him some of this herb. My brother is still taking it daily for maintenance. We need you Robin Get well soon.

I am praying that Robin gets better soon and starts putting on some weight. He has always been thin, but now he's to thin. Robin is one of the nicest stars I've met and he deserves our prayers and good wishes for his health, NOT some of the nasty comments I've read here.

Looks like RichardElden got his 5 minutes of fame, and will fade to nothingness by next week. To take joy in the fact that someone has terminal cancer (whether it be Robin Gibb or anyone else) is both reprehensible and evil. Apart from the talent, fame & fortune which Robin has worked hard for, for almost 50 years, what he has given back to the community would put many celebrities to shame. I hope he recovers fully, but if he doesn't he will live on in our hearts

My Mom saw a shot of him on TMZ looking bony and she called me into the room... When I caught a look at him... "Oh my God..." was what I said.. Thinking.. it is not real... My mom said "Something's wrong with him...He's got cancer.." She was right... Even sadder is that my mom died of 2 forms of cancer on Jan 18, 2013... Lost the man I loved most of my life to cancer and then my mom.... My parents knew that I loved this man... My mom knew that I LOVED this man... Never married and never will.. My heart went to Robin....

I'm afraid Robin doesn't look well. Any of us (many of us) who have dealt with this horrifying condition is familiar with the wasting away that comes with the disease.

@Dragongo He's 61 years old! Some people just don't age well! Doesn't change their talent or who they are inside. Plus if you'd paid attention to the video you would know that he's been sick. Sickness can make a person look very "not good". lol
