There's always a sweet spot when it comes to engineering placements. How many times have you removed interior on this channel? You got some mileage on those hands 😁👍
I think we've done at least 10 vehicles gutting them on the channel. Removing sections and seats, I lost count lol.
We just bought a 2017 2500HD extended cab to haul our truck Camper and want to remove one of the seats to give use better storage. I looks like the 2 seater will come out without disturbing the single seat behind the passenger.
Thanks for sharing!
Interesting how much space along the wall there. Definitely gotta take them out to see what I'm working with after seeing this.
Thanks for watching!
Cut about 2 ½” off the hook part and you have a fold down rear seat. Lift the bottom until the hook clears the bracket, fold it down. Taa-daa
Thanks for sharing!
How did you mount amp to back wall? Self tappers. ?
Glue wood or plastic substrate to the back wall, then screw into that. Don't put holes through the cab.
@@AnthonyJ350 did you have any problems with leaking because unfortunately when it rains water got into the same spot I put my amp in
@@aleezunkai No we didn't. Is it your back glass?
@@AnthonyJ350 I have not checked that could definitely be a possibility and I did a little bit of research and it could be a vent. I will get back to you when I tear down the truck again. Thanks for the possibility.
Removing the seat belt receptacles first would prevent them from becoming damaged and scratched up.
Thanks for the feedback!
How did you get to the bolts? My double cab seats don’t have any straps to fold them up or anything
Can you get to them with a ratcheting wrench? Double cab seats don't fold up? What if you just pull it up?
Do you think crew cab rear seats would fit in a double cab rear area? Asking cause I have a double cab and I want to out the crew cab rear seats I order to get the duo holders
It's possible because the rear of the cab is probably the still the same stamping. I'm only assuming though
@@AnthonyJ350 I wish someone did that.
@@CarlosRamirez-ij8mo You can be the first! Totally a gamble though unless you can see the design on the back of the seat.
Any chance you know if crew cab seats bolt right into a double cab. Or can you swap the brackets if not?
That I'm not sure of, sorry.
I have a double cab and I’ve been looking for a solution too . Have you checked into the full-size seat? Seems like it would be too big.
I’m gonna do what he did in this video
what about front seats?
Haven't made a video
2008 close to this?
Kind of like this. My 2005 is similar with the hooks on the back.
You didn't show a thing
Did you even try looking for the bolts when you flip the seat up. They're right there.
This is the worst how to video I've ever seen. You didn't bother to show how to take the damn seat out, which is what your description claims.
Ya we did, how else were we able to sound deaden it. I showed you where all the fasteners are. How much do I need to hold your hand? Do you always whine this much?
Shut it Lizzo.
