Wow, one of my top 10 comments, I know you’re probably saying that nonchalantly but to be honest with you it’s very few times do you not just get ridicule in the comments so anytime you’re going across somebody’s video and you enjoy what they’ve done you should say something polite to them not only does it help the video go to more places makes them feel good or at least in my situation it does. I actually look at my comments I try to answer them all.
I know there’s gonna be a day that I won’t be able to, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart so thank you very very much

Really liked the video. The one thing I was looking for was the front image of the used starter. But your video was awesome and I appreciated it 👍

I wish you would have shown where the starter is before taking the drive shaft out so people that say "don't need to do that" know why it's removed. There's no room to get the starter it self out from the top or bottom on an 2002 to 2010 jeep 3.7L.
Starter's not as accessible on these as it is on 90s models.

That’s not true if I’m understanding you correctly you’re saying that you cannot get the starter out? What are you supposed to do remove the engine or lift it up or something that’s not true.
Starters get changed in these vehicles every day without removing the engine or at the very least lifting it up

@DD-hj3sj well I don’t understand I guess why you wouldn’t remove the driveshaft that’s one of the problems with people who work in their driveway. They think that doing things differently create some kind of shortcut but if you worked on vehicles for decades, you realize that those things that you can do, doesn’t mean you should do. It’s gonna be hard to explain this over a text message so you might not understand but if you keep working on automobiles, you certainly will.

I'm doing it right now, and just needed confirmation , and I had no intention of removing the drive shaft, that's too much work , I could see how to do it without removing the drive shaft. It's interesting how only one other guy saw that. I looked knew what needed to be done, you have to remove the tire and the protector to get it out then in. Telling these guys to remove the drive shaft is like telling a 3 year old to park a mack truck

you’re such a genius….. good for you go make a video and show people how to do it…. Turn a 15 minute job into a seven hour job, and then another four hours of editing….
And then let the games, Begin, complaining and bitching and whining from a bunch of liberal ass babies …..

Just bought an 07 and it's the biggest pile of junk I've ever owned. Door handles have broken, leaks popped up, I fixed, it leaked again, now the starter has gone out. Cost almost $800 for brakes. I'll never own another jeep product.

Can concur, bought a 2010 Grand Cherokee for like 8 grand, looks great, nice ride and all, but every time it all too frequently breaks down and gets towed or goes into the dealership, (which always takes about a week just to get it in the door, they are so backed up in repairing these scrap piles) they find at least 5 other things wrong with it requiring, bill, always ends up being at least 2 grand. I'm sure I have spent more in repairs than it cost me. I'm 67 yrs old and owned about 6 or 7 vehicles in the past. Gotta say this Jeep is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever owned. Couldn't pay me to ever own another jeep product again. I really want to get rid of it asap, I am currently scouring old you-tube videos for a fresh no crank/no start problem I woke up to this morning with the piece of shit.
