I programmed one of those robots for my university. They actually can't do that much, but they are cute and can read your facial expression (at least 70% of the time).
I got to London via Heathrow in 2004. Apparently at that time they were doing some major remodeling or new construction, idk. The distance we had to walk from the plane until the area where you meet people waiting for you was insane. There were temporary walls everywhere with lots of turns. Every time we went around a corner we were sure it would be the end, but instead it felt like a never-ending maze. It wasn't bad to be walking after sitting on a plane for ~11hrs, but after so many turns it started to be funny and I was laughing about it. It wasn't actually funny though, it was just because I had spent 11hrs sitting on a red-eye flight and wasn't able to sleep. ;-)

5:06 Japan is awesome, there are even people who try to minimise damage to your luggage on the conveyor belt... where I live there is only a warning sign advising people not to sit on the conveyor belt:)

I just got back from a flight and not only did I suffer agonizing ear pressure that a lucky 1% of humans endure while flying, but the customs were crowded due to simultaneous flights arriving. Lucky our luggage was okay despite being set out and unattended when we got to it. Nothing that Londoners or the Japanese might ever have the dishonor of experiencing. Crap, this became a rant. Plane meals are tiny for three reasons: 1) Reduced weight for takeoff. 2) Reduced costs for travel. 3) Not as many on long trips going to the lavatory. Just saying, Ami.

My last flight from Singapore to Melbourne, I got the entire middle section (4 seats) to myself! So I sat in my assigned seat the entire flight and watched movies. Also, I'm glad to see I am not the only one who responds to those automated warning messages.
