  • Just to say that the other figures shown at the end of the video were not filmed during painting, so sorry to anyone that requests a video........FYI, from left to right in the picture they are from Scale75, Mantis Miniatures, Alpine Miniatures and Scale75, also the Mantis figure has replacement arms to the kit pose 👍

Another fine example of figure painting at it's Pinnacle. Wish my hands were half as steady. Great work.

Excellent tutorial, quite the best I've seen on painting 1/35 scale figures, and I've seen a few. Nice to see it all done with a brush. The result is superb. Lots and lots to like and learn from this.

The flesh tones and blending are superb. It's truly inspiring to see a master craftsman at his finest.

A brilliant job CWM! I have been following your figure painting tips with much enjoyment.
I’m afraid that, due to my old shaking hands, my own efforts at painting figures are mediocre at best. I have a whole box of unpainted figures, that are part of the model kits that I’ve built, that will probably never get finished.
I particularly like your treatment of the eyes. If a figure is wearing a helmet or cap the eyes would be in shadow anyway, so I hate to see a good painting job on a figure spoilt by the glaring white of the eyes, which at that scale are not really discernible anyway.
    Cheers from Australia.

Looks fantastic to me. If you get people offering tips on how to do this you should check out their work to see if it is any better and if there is nothing published then just ignore the arm chair critics. You have a well honed figure painting skill as far as I'm concerned. Cheers 😊

Ta......lol, unsolicited criticism, nit picking, or rivet counting is not tolerated here.....I did a video about it last year as my channel isn't about teaching anyone how to do things but instead, I'm just sharing what i do.......however, helpful suggestions are always welcome 👍.......thanks for watching

CW Modelling thanks for that information, I don’t think I could ever emulate your painting skills, 25 years since I built a kit and failing eyesight doesn’t help but I will persevere, at least I have something to aspire to, love your videos.
