    Thank you for your video! Minimal effort and safe for the environment. Just used a regular garden hose, too. Took about ten minutes to clean our wall!

    Great video. A little constructive criticism in the video production area: when the music came on the volume was really high and I had to pull out my ear buds. 😊

    Another item which can be found at dollar stores is oven cleaner. Buy 5 cans $5. Spray on brick. Wait. Then wash off. I think people would get better and easier result. Depending on situation don't let it drain into gutter no matter what you use.

    • @MAGAMAN
      @MAGAMAN Рік тому +1

      Oven cleaner will destroy your brick. Regardless of what you use to clean your brick, the first thing you should do is wet it down. You do not want the cleaning chemicals to get absorbed into the brick.

    how do you clean mold inside your fireplace?

    • @SoniaFigueroaRE
      @SoniaFigueroaRE  Рік тому +1

      You may be able to remove mold on bricks with an antifungal cleanser like Foster 40-80, available at home improvement stores, and a stiff brush. Use a long-handled brush to clean hard-to-reach parts of your fireplace. Use a mirror and a flashlight to help you see all parts of the fireplace

    What about basements walls? How do you rinse them ?

    • @SoniaFigueroaRE
      @SoniaFigueroaRE  4 роки тому

      basements are a whole different animal i'll be posting a video on how i cleaned my basement concrete and then epoxied the floor. Overall you will have to etch it to make the surface smooth. Phosphoric acid works on smooth or rough concrete. I used something else can't recall right now but I'll soon post the video.

    • @SoniaFigueroaRE
      @SoniaFigueroaRE  4 роки тому

      I used Muriatic acid and lots of elbow grease here is the video not sure if this will help but just in case. ua-cam.com/video/coA1AOw6Kgo/v-deo.html

    I don't want to sound like I contradicting your video ... I really like it, but hydrogen peroxide and baking soda are chemicals. They are pretty safe, but not exactly correct to say that you're not using real chemistry, as your results will bear out. Nice job!

    • @SoniaFigueroaRE
      @SoniaFigueroaRE  4 роки тому

      thank you so much sorry for delayed response. You are right they technically are chemicals but as a DIY'er I just felt they weren't as harmful as some other substances you buy at the hardware store.
