Thank you!! I think both are GREAT SXS's! Steve's perspective is a good one because he's had a built Can-Am, and currently has a 2 seat Pro R, 4 seat supercharged Pro R, and a Speed UTV on order. He's not brand loyal and just wants to have the most fun in whatever he's currently driving. From my perspective the Pro R and Maverick R are very comparable. They both rally hard! If the Pro R had a transmission like the Mav R I'd definitely take one over the Mav R. It all depends on riding. If you're going to jump, the Pro R is much better about jumping level. The Can-Am nose dives over jumps and doesn't make you as confident. I have a full review video and other videos of the Pro R in my Dunes Riding playlist if you want to check it out. I also have a Speed review. The Mav R is very stable and with the rolling anti-lag and transmission it's a blast! The Pro R does everything very well and makes you want to do crazy stuff that you wouldn't normally do. I'm putting together the extended footage of cat and mouse around the dunes with the Mav R for those that want to see more footage of it.
$48k and plastic panels flying off. Like the one above the center dash? And the praying mantis suspension works but not as good as Pro R. Interesting. The motor and DCT is all that this new Mav has going for it. Just my 2 cents.
I agree! The fitment of panels and their ability to start on should be much better! I think my overall take on it is if you're a can am guy then this is the unit for you. If you're a Polaris guy then the Pro R is for you. Two different machines and hard to pick a "winner."
If the only issue the maverick r has is just a small panel flying off then I’ll just tape it from the inside 🤷🏻♂️ I have a Polaris xp1000 and wanted to get a maverick x3 but now I might get the R
@@Chargersctpk you would definitely be happy with it! I didn't really have negatives to say about it besides the frustrating panel fitment. That's what gorilla tape is for though! 😁
I barrel rolled mine rolled it back on its feet let it sit started her up she ripped away few damage In plastics but ya there isn’t much comparison to being able to go 100 miles an hour on the highway then hit the dunes or go rock climb very successful I might add too without changing tires, I mean did you see decar holy crap those mavericks are beast, guys are track placing with these bone stock, plastic doesn’t make the ride most of us will replace it with metal and just wait till motor and transmission upgrades come this maverick r will have capabilities of 500 hp plus all day.. I watched the bikeman built razor that’s got what 50 grand Into it or more barely barely pull a Maverick r. with an evo tune on bone stock motor in dunes keep in mind that razor was still 500 lbs lighter or more and uphill in sand to see that Maverick r hang like it did almost side by side I’m sorry but these things are just animals all the way around!! What do I know tho I just own them all
I took my out today for the first time It rocks Any negative 40k just isn’t that much any more Oh I got mine for 40k out the door I’m in San Diego and they want 55k 6 months ago
Thanks so much!! There are definitely more pros than cons! Really the main cons were for and finish with a couple panels falling off both cars and the fact that they like to donkey kick a bit over jumps. Both issues are fixable and wouldn't keep me from getting one.
Thank you! 🤙 I've got the review video on the Speed on my channel. My friend has been out with it several times now. In fact, he's at the dunes this weekend and I couldn't make it there to get more footage unfortunately.
Great video! Would love a more in depth comparison to a Pro R.

Good video. Where is the speed utv content?

Awesome videos and cars. What location is this in?
Thanks!! This was in Coos Bay, OR. We stayed at Riley Ranch there.
@@PapaWheeliesWorld awesome place 👍🏻 thank you.
@@1ttcobra2003 for sure! We don't stay there often enough! It's not bad as long as you're close to the access road.
@@PapaWheeliesWorld a truly appreciate the heads up 🙏🏻
