Thank you for this nice tutorial. Really nice work on those cutting boards.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Great video. Based on your instructions I just ordered the Walrus wood wax. Already use the Walrus oil. I hope you do more videos, thanks.
That’s awesome! Thank you. I hope you used my code MAC10 for 10% off ☺️
Thank you
You’re welcome!
Hello, how often should I apply the oil and wax? thanks for this video
Hey! It’s really a preference and depends on how often you’re using your board. If you use it every day, it’s probably best to oil every month. Otherwise, you can go a few months between!
What kind of finish does the wax leave? Does it dry and harden or still seem wet?
Dries and hardens!
Just wasnted to say grate vid....I got my first wooden cutting board for Christmas this year......I herd you were supposed to cure your bored with oil.... so I just recently looked it up and found walrus oil....So I bought their board wood soap, board oil & there board wax....You will have to excuse me if I'm not getting the names right....I I know you understand what I mean.... I ordered them online and should get them in 2 or 3 days
That’s awesome. I hope you used my code MAC10 and got 10% off! 😉
@@MacArthurWoodworks no unfortunately I didn't know you had a 10% code.... I ordered it from a place here in Canada called Lee Valley Tools

@@MacArthurWoodworks I will do that.....Thank you
@@jessecook2839 of course!
So this is good for epoxy too? What grit od you sand the epoxy down to?
For sure! I usually sand the boards to 220 grit making sure to water pop. I’ve got a video on making a board as well if you want to check it out!
How do I order a cutting board from you? Thanks, Hank from West Virginia.
Hey! You can visit my website - www.macarthurwoodworks.com
I have a few on there for sale and a “custom resin charcuterie board” option where you can build your own. Thanks so much!
Video sound way to low you have a soft voice and to far from mic.
