  • We spent the day hiking and exploring in Lahemaa National Park and fell in love with the beautiful Estonian wilderness. Throughout the day, we saw a waterfall, forests, bogs, and so much more. Big thank you to Prangli Travel for this unforgettable day!

I’d love to visit the Baltic states someday. So much history there that gets overlooked.

It's a really beautiful region of the world. We want to go back in the summer at some point

Don't listen to these nice but somewhat fake compliments. The region is OK if you visited the rest of Europe, otherwise, you'll be disappointed. You say "history", well, there are only a few UNESCO sites in all three Baltic states, mostly related to countries' capitals. Nature-wise, it's all nice but missing spectacular sights - this national park is basically the peak of Baltic beauty. The guy is like "BEAUTIFUL FOREST" - and I am like - where?, this is how a forest looks in most of Europe.

Great video. Absolutely loved Lahemaa. The area around Altja village is the best (where you went too!) - in that area alone I spotted a brown bear, a lynx, sea eagles, and several roe deer. But you should go in summer too!!! It is sooo green then. Viru Bog reminded me of Scottish Highlands, even the pines are Scots pines. Also the forest hike at Oandu to the old growth forests were incredible ...

But i talked about swings what were similar to you you tryd and can hold 8-12 people and is alot more dangerouse to make over top. But kiiking gives also nice adrealine burst on safer conditions.

don't even try to pronounciate estonian names without long and proper training... Lahemaa is not /laima/ as it sounds here. la-he-maa. not so difficult, only lil bit of care needed. just tryna help :) alrite, just kiddin actuerly. but i will never attempt to say Kuujjuaq without proper training - it is spot on north american continent same latitude as north estonia... bit more south, it is 58° 6′ 24″ N and Tallinn on north coast of estonia is 59° 26′ 14″ N
