Hi Will, I found you for the first time about a week or so ago. I think your training skills are exceptional and will be using them when we get another dog in time. We lost one of our boys two months ago and his brother 11 months before. They were a good age but that doesn't make it any easier. Whilst going through your videos I came across Mabel and was devastated to hear what happened. It's not fair that dogs don't live long as it is but four months is heart breaking. Not that I'm looking to get a new dog at the moment but I was just on the Bridgend dogs trust site looking to see what they have there and up popped a one year old cane corso girl looking for a new home. Nothing will ever replace Mabel but I thought I would let you know just incase you could give her a home.
Thank you for posting your videos. They give many of us the tips we need to make our dogs lives more enjoyable.
Keep doing what you're doing. 👍

Always roll out of bed, coat on and straight out the door for our walk. Best time of day to be out, before everyone else gets moving

Thank you for the simplicity of the advice. Dog training does not have to be a rocket science. I have a 10 week old border collie puppy who is an absolute dream already and I am just following your basic advice (we are in the trust building phase, making her feel comfortable and safe). She is not that naughty and so far is happy to bite just her toys… our feet are safe for now😂

I love morning walk in a field and getting them to change directions frequently. Gets them the physical exercise and mentally stimulation by focusing on me consistently

QUESTION: I have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog. I've trained guide dogs puppies, loads of other of my own in varying breeds (mutts, great dane, retriever, other blue heeler and terrier or two) Wali :goes absolutely batshift crazy when I get home (gone 5 minutes or 5 hours) she's never been allowed to jump up, I get to her level. She still jumps up! There's only me (and the once a week dog walker) please give me suggestions on getting Wali to stop jumping up. Thank you from Mucky-prints-on-my-workpants🤦🏻‍♀️

Hey Will. Do you offer personal online training? My Cane is intelligent. She pouts when I try to implement these tactics. She feels bad meaning the error has to be on my part.

my dog is thick as pig shit he's a GSD x collie cross but he has seizures and I think they've affected his brain cause he's so dumb he just fades off or zones out so it's making training extreamly hard I'm trying to stay patient with him he's got sit and and down and stay he does break but he's nearly 5 months and we've been doing it every day and sometimes it's like he just forgets everything all at once and he malfunctions
