Many years ago we met in a bar in Barcelone by chance. We were talking about everthing under the sun. I didn't have the impression to talk to an icon, but to a very nice and down to earth man.
He's such an icon even if you're not especially interested in fashion! I like the way he talk about what he does and things like gender or skin colour. Btw his french accent and the few times he spoke french were so cute/fun to hear for me (I'm french) 😂

I met him once in nyc when i still had my gallery in soho and he was so full of life and charming to the maximum. I loved this man's manner and humor. Bravo jean paul.

Last march I visited Paris and saw Fashion Freak Show in Folies Berger, at the end of the show JPG himself show up on stage and people just went crazy about him.

He creates so much for all shapes of women but his men's collection doesn't go as far for men. Now he's going just couture I'll never have the chance.
