Learn how to set up loyalty store and loyalty points for your StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) account when streaming. This is a streaming tutorial style video but fairly casual and laid back, more conversational by running through some of the settings that are available on CloudBot for loyalty redemption.
In this video I show exactly how to set up and activate loyalty points on your StreamLabs Online account for it to then carry through onto your stream when streaming on Twitch, UA-cam Gaming, Facebook Gaming, etc.
I show how to configure the loyalty system, how to set up and customise the loyalty store, add products to the loyalty store (including voice and sound effects for viewers to redeem), how to give your users proper information on how to redeem the custom loyalty points via custom Cloudbot commands and timers, and finally I show briefly how to take advantage of the StreamLabs Prime functionalities and additional benefits via enabling and setting up the loyalty store on your custom website, with a loyalty points leader board.

@@ashleshsonl571 Hey, thanks for watching! You can go into the "Default" commands within Cloudbot > Commands section, do a CTRL+F and find "Give" (or something like that... the command is givepoints or give) - then you can edit that command and allow only mods to use it :) Takes just one min to do!

Do have a question though. For “UA-cam” streams, can you change the bot name? I mean it says to merge a twitch account. I know it needs prime though.
SteveZDad the honest answer is that I don’t know on that one. Naming your bot is a Prime function and it works for Twitch (as I’ve done it on Twitch) but I’ve not tested it on YT Gaming. Tbh though the Twitch bot name is a little ropey on consistency; it mostly works but now and then reverts back to being “Streamlabs” rather than my bot name, which is a bit annoying.
If you opt for Prime on StreamLabs Online, make sure you use my affiliate code as you get I think $10-20 dollars off an annual membership :)

For StreamLabs loyalty, you do not need to be affiliate! It uses StreamLabs own points system which sits in the background!
But when testing you might want to have ‘watched’ your own channel for about 15-30 mins first because new users don’t always show up in the database right away so you can’t even give points to yourself until someone has naturally earned points to show on the database!
Also double check that you have cloudbot turned on, and that Alert Box is set up!
I think ive watched my own channel (offline) for like 3 hours but still didnt see/ hear my sounds come up but did see the points changed after redeeming.. everything else was setup like the cloudbot and alert box’ anyway ill have another look at it! I'm having some issues with the image/gif not popping up on stream when viewers redeem an item. Is there a setting I'm meant to enable?
For some reason when a viewer donated in my stream they didn't get the points that I set up whenever someone donates, I had to do give the points manually. Could that just be a glitch of it not working? Would you know?

Hello I have been watching your videos for the tips and they are really appreciated. I have recorded the sound that I want for a store item and when I try to add it it doesnt seem to carry over is there a specific format I need to use?
Hey! Thanks for watching, glad they’re helping! MP3 works but there’s a bug sometimes with the store items which prevents uploads which is kinda of annoying!
If one of the MP3 sounds doesn’t work for some reason, try recording the sound and/or testing it with another sound such a as a downloaded sound from myinstants.com
This is a. StreamLabs but and one that’s really common. I’d say maybe one in every 20 sound alerts I’ve uploaded for the store just flat didn’t work with no explainable reason!
I noticed the sound effects sound like they are doubled up when I playback the stream, but sounds normal during live stream. I wonder if it’s a setting in OBS that I might need to play with. I also have GoXLR that complicated my audio when tracking down oddities.
Hey, thanks for watching! It’s possibly a few things; ensure you’ve not added the source twice somehow on your streaming software. Ensure you don’t have the browser up on the Alertbox page (StreamLabs online) which might replay redeems, and just double check the files themselves sound OK. Try doing some test redeems of your own.

hey ik its 3 years late but i set up my store, but when i redeem a sound affect, the sound doesn't play in my stream. Is it because I am on youtube or ps4? if theres any answer plz lmk
hey man was wondering how I edit previously made perks for the twitch extension of stream labs loyalty point. like when I click the little GUI it opens and there a preset made one like truth or dare, add back on snapchat, invite to game and ETC. It doesn't show those on the store panel of cloudbot.
Hey dude; honestly, I switched off my Twitch Extension loyalty system as it didn’t integrate with the normal loyalty points system at all, and along with Channel Points, just complicates things. I have no idea why StreamLabs decided that the extension should be separate from the Cloudbot loyalty, but it is! I was so confused about this for so long and in the end just removed the extension.
But there is a way to amend existing extension redeems on it, and I think it’s via going into the extension itself on Twitch (not on StreamLabs).

Thank you for the tutorial! Is there a way to redirect my viewers to the store without the premium feature? I've currently done it through a custom command
unfortunately the store is a premium feature from Streamlabs, or at least it was when the video was made (I've not checked recently). So if you want the website from Streamlabs, you need to be premium annoyingly!

Do i have to do something more? i even get a message in chat as a response that the sound got redeemed, but no sound is playing
Hey, thanks for watching! There’s a load of things this could be (please let us know which it is so we can know if you locate the problem!):
- Ensure there’s a sound file attached to the event.
- Ensure on Alertbox that “Cloudbot redeems” are not muted, turned down, etc.
- Unhide all your sources in the audio mixer so you can see the sound levels for every source (including Alertbox). Make sure it’s not muted or turned down.
- Go into your “recent events” dashboard; look in the top right corner and ensure the alerts are not paused. You could also try skipping etc.
- Try testing the redeems on your Alertbox settings on StreamLabs online. - specifically the Cloudbot redeems! (Right click and mute your browser tab first so you know it’s not the browser playing the audio!)
^They’re the normal reasons for it.
But also, ensure the person redeeming actually has enough loyalty points to redeem. Ensure the browser source in your software is not hidden, muted or deleted somehow.
- Check the settings in Alertbox for the Cloudbot redeem to ensure it’s not turned down or muted (on StreamLabs online!).
But.... so many people have had issues with Alertbox and Cloudbot redeems that I’m going to do a video about it very soon!

It should work for UA-cam Gaming as well, yes.
May be a crazy question but how do I link my store in a timer or command without making a full website
Your store needs to exist on the internet for people access it. You can make a website via Streamlabs Online with the Prime upgrade (use my affiliate code for money off!). But as it's native to the Streamlabs (both the loyalty store and loyalty system) there's no way to have the loyalty store elsewhere unless you use some sort of iFrame function to pull the Streamlabs store information.

You can execute the commands in chat (at least you can on Twitch!) while offline for Loyalty; just open up your chat and try testing the commands there (even if you're offline!).
You can also edit yours (or anyone elses) points in Cloudbot too, to add / remove points if needed. It's within the Loyalty tab under Cloudbot!

I’m wondering if maybe it’s something to do with your StreamLabs account; Did you use UA-cam credentials to log into StreamLabs online, or did you set up an account manually with your email? If not the former, it might be worth trying that.
Also, it could be worth unmodding StreamLabs in your YT chat, then remodding it.
Hi, i implemented what you explained on video and it works great!! But not for all viewers :S... I mean, i have 10/15 avg viewers, but there are only 2 spectators that chatbot won't let them bet neither participate in polls... I don't know what to think, because command !points works well for everyone (incluiding the bugged viewers lol)... Any ideas on what is going on?
Hey, thanks for watching! Just check the settings on the !points and !redeem command that they’re not limited to just a certain subsection of viewers (you can set commands to be regulars, subs, mods or just the streamer). To check this, click Cloudbot > Commands > “Default” commands and search the loyalty commands by doing a CTRL+F and searching “Loyalty”
Failing this, just bear in mind that users won’t show up on the loyalty store database to start with. It can take 10-20 mins before a new viewer will show up because they won’t have accumulated points to start with. I’ve noticed it can take a while before people’s points actually show up!
If all else fails, I’d recommend (unfortunately) starting from scratch including logging in and out of Twitch, StreamLabs and turning cloudbot on / off, as well as unmodding / reminding StreamLabs

Guten tag!
This is under the "Commands" section of "Cloudbot". So click "Cloudbot" > "Commands" then you need to click on "Default" commands.
I think the default commands is something like "!points" so you can just edit that to whatever you want it to be! :)
I would recommend having an alias as "!points" (advanced settings on the command) so that people than are unsure can still use !points as well as your own version of it!

Great video, how do you find the link to the loyalty store for people to browse your store and see what is available for them to spend their loyalty points?
Thanks dude! The link is via your StreamLabs “website”; the website function is a StreamLabs Prime upgrade (if you upgrade to Prime... use my link and you’ll get money off!).
The link is not a default one... you need to make a page under “Website” (StreamLabs Online, left hand side) > “Content” (on the web page builder...) > “Manage My Site Pages” - from here you can “add page” name it what you want (I’ve called mine the name of my loyalty points system) and then you need to use the web builder to add the following default sections (drag and drop....) to that page (make sure your new page is selected under “active page” on the left side):
1) Cloudbot Loyalty
2) Cloudbot store
One shows the leaderboard (loyalty) and the other shows the ideas in the store (store).
This is am quite a long explanation, so if you want I can jump on discord and show you; it’ll take like 2 mins!

The loyalty store itself is basically unusable without the Prime upgrade because showing the products (the audio redeems etc) is not possible, however you can easily show the products on a different website if you want or even on your Twitch Panels, because fundamentally you're showing really what the sound is and what the command is... i.e. you can list the redeem commands somewhere for your chat to see and select from :) ... they then just need to use the chat to redeem them with the !redeem command.

You can simply paste in the emojis you want into the response texts within the response messages under Cloudbot > Commands > Default (then edit the messages under Loyalty)

Is there a way to LIST the redeem points without creating and maintaining a custom command? For example: I have !store to list the commands that can be redeemed. A lot of people dont want to log into a separate site to redeem. Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for watching! You could link to a hosted document instead as it’s a little cleaner (not a store), or you can list the commands themselves within the text of the command but there’s a character limit of 500, so be mindful of that!

Hey thanks for watching! I think it’s possibly because you might need to authorise them manually when they’re perks. Try looking in “recent events” section of StreamLabs Online and see if there’s an area to authorise redeem events. Otherwise check in the history tab on the Loyalty second for an approval button.

How can viewers use twitch channel points to convert it to loyalty points ?
If I'm streaming straight from console, how do people get to the store and redeem from the loyalty store? Or do I need to be streaming through OBS?
Hey, thanks for watching! Well the store is a website so they can just visit the website on their own accord. They can also redeem stuff in chat on Twitch so there's no issue there, however if you do not have the browser source displayed in a broadcasting software, then the sound alerts they redeem will not show up unfortunately, which is one of the pitfalls of using console broadcasting platforms that are heavily restricted.
Do you have to make them MOD every time you do a stream?
No once you mod Streamlabs it should mod them on your channel indefinitely until you unmod it manually (if you ever need to!)

When hitting the reset database, does it erase the names and their top hours? Or does it just reset the points?
I think it erases the points and time watched which is annoying because I want to reset my points for everyone now but not the watch time!

Yea it is . I have a lot of people that play. I like to reset points every 2 weeks. I have to do it individually for each person.

Copyright isn't normally an issue for soundbites that are 3-7 seconds long, but obviously do your own research on this as I don't want to be responsible for you getting a strike.
I tend to use Myinstants.com as there are loads you can press on the fly to test them, and the click the mp3 button to download!

Hey I was wondering if you know if this is possible. I want to add an item to the store that allows someone to post a link. Like an automatic !permit command that you can purchase with loyalty points. Is this possible in SLOBS? Thx
Hey dude! Hope you’re doing well!
I tried to rack my brain to see how I could automate that fully including auto permitting but it’s not an easy one. For a start though you can easily visit; StreamLabs.com > Cloudbot > Store > Items > Add New Item and then when the container pops up, select “Stream Perk” or “Access Code” and flesh out the description / title and redeem code etc. That’ll at least allow someone to redeem it; but for now you’ll need to manually !permit ... I think there might be a way to use some auto triggers to do that last part automatically; give me a day or two and I’ll see what I can do!

They both work independently! You need to be affiliate for the Twitch points but not for the StreamLabs Loyalty function!

This is irrelevant to Twitch Affiliate or Partner status. This can work for ANY streamer using Facebook Gaming, Twitch or UA-cam gaming, as the loyalty store, function and bot all sit within the Streamlabs and/or Cloudbot features which are not affiliated with any of the streaming platforms!

For me, loyalty points is not working, ....It is showing " Queued 20 loyalty payout " if I add 20 points
How do I set up a !check balance command that links the viewers to their wallet?
Check the default commands in the commands tab. I think there’s one called “points” but I renamed mine to something shorter but it it basically displays their balance!!
what are the "stream perks" and what are they used for when the viewer redeems them?
These are literally anything you want them to be! They're basically a custom redeem so that people can use channel points to redeem something on your channel. e.g. a Steam voucher, for you to do sit ups, for you to end your stream etc! :P

Cloudbot does not charge loyalty points and does not see users after the points reset. What should I do ?
Hey dude, thanks for watching. After someone has their points reset to 0, they might momentarily not appear in the database but the second they accumulate at least 1 new point they will reappear again!

This can happen - the user needs to watch for 10-15 mins before they show on the database unfortunately. It's kinda frustrating but it happens and I don't think there's a workaround! I think it has something to do with how frequently the Streamlabs Cloudbot database is updated - I think it's updated every 5-10 mins (so any new viewers would show as long as they've 'earned' some loyalty!
Hope that explains! The person basically just needs to watch for 10-15 mins!

There are free tools out there that offer a basic content management system (such as wordpress) that allow you to create a website listing the commands, but it won't integrate into streamlabs or Twitch / UA-cam Gaming in the same way.

Your understanding is perfectly correct. The command is needed first to tell the Cloudbot it’s a redeem (!redeem) and then the next word is the redeem command itself.
Note you can customise !redeem to be something else if you wanted e.g. !r or !sound or something like that! It’s in the “default” commands section in Cloudbot and just do a CTRL+F to find “redeem” and then edit the command with the pencil icon :)

You can theoretically add this using a PC or laptop to your stream (as in, just spend 10 mins on anyones chrome browser setting it up!).
It will just run in the background, and you can use a tablet or mobile to monitor the loyalty activity on your stream!
Note that the sounds probably won't play however if you're using your PS4 itself to broadcast. So the main purpose of loyalty on your stream is for your manually added perks, or for loyalty point modules like gamble, heist etc.

My audio items from the store are not being redeemed. How would i fix that?
Ensure Cloudbot is modded in your chat. Then also ensure it toggled on in StreamLabs.com.
Then ensure the browser source for Alertbox is added abs enabled as it’ll confirm when the redeem has been made (via an alert), then just check the person redeeming has enough loyalty points, and that they’re using the correct command and that the product is not on a ‘stock level’ ie you’ve not added a stock level to it so it runs down.
If all else fails, I’d recommend contacting StreamLabs on their discord server.

There are people that have followed me before these were set up, I couldn't see them in users. I've wiped out the ones that did get it, I was hoping to give back their points individually to make it all even but I couldn't. This might be a silly issue and I may have made it harder on myself, does anyone know a way to fix this?
If they watch your stream for 10-15 mins they should show up in the loyalty database again assuming you’ve set it all up correctly.

How do you make a link so people can see what sounds they can play
I created mine through Streamlabs Prime (their paid option allows you to create a customised donation website).
But you can easily set up a content based website say from something free like Wordpress and list all the items there! Or even just a hosted word or excel document that is cloud based and you can link people to that. It doesn't have to cost money!
PS if you do upgrade to Prime - using my code will get you money off and help me at the same time! :)

So whenever a viewer redeems that only sound and alert pops not the thumbnail we selected?
Hi, thanks for watching! I’m not sure what you’re asking? The thumbnail in the store is just a picture representing the sound, purely as a visual icon in the store. The notification that appears is the standard one if alertbox is turned on, or if you’ve customised the alert it’ll be whatever you’ve customised it to be. In addition the sound that has been redeemed also plays!

Hello, I did everything correctly , when i test to redeem the sound alert, streamlabs tags me in chat and said i have redeemed it correctly , but nothing shows up (no sound effect live on stream). Can you help me maybe?

Hey all! I’ve watched this video so many times but I still have 1 problem, I’ve been testing my loyalty store commands but the redemptions are totally random, I redeem one but it shows as another on stream… does anybody know how to fix this
Hey, thanks for watching! Sorry you're having some issues with this. This does sound like a bug so I'd probably recommend speaking with Streamlabs directly by joining their server.
However, just to check one thing - are you definitely using the corresponding redeem tag? i.e. you're not just using !redeem and leaving it blank afterwards? For example, setting up a loyalty for a fart noise could have a Fart name as a redeem code, so you'd type !redeem fart and it specifies that sound... ? Just checking this!

When I go to commands and go to betting it says my !Bet isn’t enabled how do I enable that? That’s how they gamble the coins.
I think the bet command is for when you create betting wagers under the betting tab on cloudbot. This is not to be confused with the !gamble command which is under the modules tab under cloudbot.
You can edit all default commands under “cloudbot” > “commands” > “Default”

Why "leaderboard" points of twitch streamlabs panel is different from "loyalty" point on streamlabs web site? How can I reset points of twitch bots?
There are two loyalty points systems that StreamLabs have. One is the mobile “widget” and the other is the “Cloudbot” loyalty tab. I think I mention the widget briefly in my vid; but it doesn’t interact with the Cloudbot loyalty system.
To make things a little more complicated there’s also the native Twitch “Channel Points” too, which are built into channels that are Affiliate or Partner but are nothing to do with StreamLabs.
I recommend using the Cloudbot Loyalty Points (as they’re the most reliable) along also using Twitch Channel Points but use them in different ways, however suits your needs.
To delete bot loyalty points; in Cloudbot under “Loyalty” Tab on StreamLabs Online, you can adjust people’s points by clicking the little pencil icon next to the persons name. (I regularly zero out bot accounts too!).

Do you use standalone "Streamlabs Chatbot"?
It has "Currency" which can be "local" or "connected" with Streamlabs Twitch Extension, but after connection to extension, it doesn't show users and their points...
@@RossiaIsNoMore I've never used the desktop Chatbox from Streamlabs, mainly because I don't like running additional apps on my PC when there's a cloud alternative! But I know other people that use it to a decent level :)

Hey, thanks for watching! It’s possible this is an alert box issue, rather than a loyalty store issue. Loyalty Store items play through cloudbot redemptions and they’re displayed on stream as alert box (if you have Alertbox active).

Nice video! It made the whole loyalty system understandable, I was struggling with it. I just have one question that I don't fully understand: Without a website, is there a way for viewers to see what items are in the store? How can they navigate there? Or there is no way for them to view it?
Without the website you need a way for people to see the content about what you've listed!
So you could easily set up a Wordpress, Wix etc website and have a list of commands / soundbites on there. Otherwise, you can also set it up as a Google Doc!

I think I cover this in the video, but if not check the Default Commands, and look for a command called "points" or "point" - you should be able to edit that command to be whatever you want! :)

@@geg. No you don't have to be affiliate. This is a Streamlabs Online function, not a Twitch function. So you just have to have it all enabled and ensure you've added stuff to your store like in the video.

What do you mean by get users? Do you mean no users are showing up in the loyalty points list? To get points users have to have been on the stream long enough to earn the points, plus check you’ve got more than 0 listed in the parameters for the points earning, then check it’s turned on at both cloudbot ( /mod StreamLabs in your chat, and ensure it’s toggled on by clicking on “Cloudbot” in your StreamLabs online account and checking it’s toggled). Then also check that the loyalty points itself are toggled on under “Loyalty” tab (within “Cloudbot”). If you’re still having problems I’d need to see your settings (happy to jump on Discord) and diagnose it for you!
do loyalty points = channel points
On Twitch channel points are Twitch's native loyalty system, whereas for this video loyalty points are a Streamlabs function. So they're different!

Hey dude. You could try the following things:
- Ensure alertbox is added as a sourced to your streaming software.
- Ensure alertbox is showing as visible on your stream (eyeball not crossed out in SLOBS)
- Ensure the alert in your alertbox (StreamLabs online dashboard) are toggled on for “Cloudbot redemptions”.
- Ensure all the items in your shop are visible (toggled on).
- Check that the people redeeming have enough points to redeem what they are redeeming.
You can also send a ‘test’ within the alertbox settings, which then appears as a fake Cloudbot redemption on your stream to show if the notification is working.
If needed, I don’t mind jumping onto discord to try and diagnose it for you, but at the moment it’s difficult to help as you’ve not provided a lot of detail.

@@Fernandes36 Ah yes, you've not earned any loyalty points therefore your name doesn't appear in the list. I recommend watching your channel (as stupid as it sounds....) for 10-15 mins so you appear on the list and earn some of your own loyalty points.
I'm not sure if they maybe allocate automatically to the user, but failing that just watch your stream on a difference device for 10-15 mins.
This also applies to new viewers on your stream. However, you can give points within chat (if you have enough points...) by using the command "!givepoints @recipientsname [points value to give]
^I think !givepoints is the default command but you can change that if you like.
