Love the orignal, grew up with that song. Fall Out Boy did not disappoint. I can see this being added to my rotation of FOB songs.
Felt it in my soul from the first listen. Excellent 2nd installment of song & issues.
this is my jam back in 1992,. man im old
You deserve more followers and likes. It's amazing to see your reaction to this song and your facial expressions are so relatable.
Respect to Billy Joel for a song I grew up with and hats off to Fall Out Boy for summarising what's happened in our lives since ❤❤
That's kind of you, thank you :)
Love me some Fall Out Boy!
I just heard this for the first time last night, and now seeing your video, what a coincidence! Great vid Capp!
Cool, I didn’t know Fall Out Boy covered this. I like that they changed the words to include more current events. 😊
I saw this cover the other day, meant to listen and never did. Serendipitous that you are reacting to it now! Great cover! I'm given to understand that while the events are not chronological, they were deliberately arranged in some manner of pattern. Grouped by like events or something like that?
Song recommendation! I'm not sure what all you're into but there's an original song by a hololive Vtuber named Hakos Baelz. One of her originals is Psycho. It goes hard and it's great. It has a lot of japanese lyrics, but there are robust subtitles. No pressure, but if you're looking for something to try I'd love to see a reaction.
2:50 yeah I mean sometimes chronological events don’t rhyme or flow as good
But anyway I like the way it came out.
It’s mad they didn’t mention covid arguably the biggest thing to happen in our lifetimes
They said that it was kinda because they mentioned so much (in the song) that happened during the covid times
loved it!
I feel old. lol. I mean I remember all this stuff.
This was a great cover. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I may be biased. I like Fallout Boy. But I did enjoy the original too.
You feel old I was born in 1980 I was 9 when the original came out I'll be 43 this year I remember all of these things including 9/11
1981 here, and same.
@@CappVlogs I was born in 89.
@@CappVlogs I feel old and I'm not if that makes sense
This Dude is Awesome ! Thank You
You rock!
When he says avatar does he mean last Airbender of blue people cause both are pretty big things
I like this one more because I was born within the time of these events, but I also enjoy the first one almost ad much ad FOB version
I remember his wife’s name. Loriana Bobbit.
You're right, no order and it didn't even mention the summer of 2020 or gender ideology.
It's catchy, but it completely misses the thing about the original that was really cool. Billy Joel did it pretty much chronologically, as you said, but this one is like "let's throw things at the wall and see if they stick because they rhyme"
liked your video, but as far as the song? No sir, I didn't like.
I hear what you're saying about the timeline.
For me, the events being out of chronological order is great.
When Billy's song came out, I was 10 yrs old. All we had were history textbooks to go by; Composed in Chronological order.
Then the internet was born.
As an adult, FoB's version is learning events via the internet.
Timelines are unique to the individual person, instead of as a people. Like, going down a rabbit hole online, events are not learned in order.
Oh they ruined it by putting. Meghan Markle’s name in it! She wants nothing more than to remain relevant. I wish they had not made her seem relevant. She isn’t. Other than that, great job.
Love fall out boy and this was made good with what events that put in the song
