That's actually a test train for the Point Defiance Bypass earlier this year. When the Coast Starlight was curtailed (I think due to the fires in CA?) they had a set stranded in Seattle and used it for testing on the Bypass. Engine on the back end to allow for reverse moves.
Definitely visit Vancouver, Washington sometime. Lots of action there. Best place for a station. Located in the middle of a wye. Awesome video! Your camera work is simply the best.
another great video...i like the one scene with mount rainier in the background...that wasn't taken by luck...good eye...perfect picture...thanks again...
Hi Mike. Just wanted to say hi and thank you for all your videos. I work with a four year old boy who has autism. He love your content very much and it is a great help in our daily rutine. I won't be surprised if his first word will be train. All the best from Sweden.
Really good video Mike! I also have 2 questions ask you 1. Do your friends help you with your videos 2. Do you happen to know why trains use Bells I understand why they use horns to tell people at a train's coming But why bells?

Mike, what is your all time favorite Amtrak npcu?

8:59 - WTF is up with that horn? Why does it sound like it's coming from a bull horn?
10:51 - Excuse me? A BNSF locomotive with that thing too?
Believe it or not it's not the train honking like that It's something called a wayside horn that's mounted onto a crossing
Awesome video as always. 😊
WOW
1:34 love the horn
Love your channel brother! Lots of cool catches 😎 Awesome camera work also!!
