The VSO gun channel just did a video about a recall on the biometric safes/lock boxes and how in general electronic safe entry has it problems more so than key entry. Not bad prices, gun socks help stuff more in without damaging anything.
I'm assuming they have neither the UL RSC rating, nor meet the CA DOJ standards which specify (either RSC or) 12ga or thicker walls, 7ga or 2x 12ga door, etc. So for anyone in a state requiring either of those, or an insurance company requiring either of those, it's a no go for storing you know what. I'd fill that keyhole with epoxy to keep it from being probably easily pickable, and still worry about it being drilled in 2 seconds if there's not a way to disable the key mechanism internally. I think it has some good uses at that price point, but I don't think the one you showed, is even close to being one of them. Every hotel room should have one or two of those, maybe bigger, in addition to the usual laptop/phone/passport/money safe. Anywhere that uses gym lockers currently, is a target market, I'd say. Personally, I think hotel rooms should have something like a job box where you bring your own padlock. They could have their own padlock in there to prevent using the box unless you pay a deposit to remove that and use your own. Gets around the "20 people at the hotel have the master key and backdoor code" problem of hotel safes. I've never actually had a theft from a hotel safe, so I am guessing key/code control is better than people think, at good hotels.
They look pretty nice to me and for all those who say it's not a safe. It locks don't it? And let's be honest, if someone's going to break into it, they have to make it to the safe first right?
it won't accept your discount code after applying in my cart. Any ideas? 10% is 10% after all. It looks sturdier than the tractor supply one and don't have much room for a full size safe in my new house.
While these are better than nothing!... They do not appear that great or roomy, and have NO fire protection! A few years back, I picked up two, small "12 Gun" safes at Academy Sports, on Black Friday for $200.00 each. They have fire protection, and adjustable shelves. No, they don't actually hold 12 rifles! (They never hold what they claim to!) 4 fit good... 5 - 6 if you don't like them! But, I also added a 110V power strip w/ USB taps, a electric dehumidifier, and motion activated LED lights, and some custom built shelves. They are pretty good... Now! It was a good price, and it fits great inside a closet. You can always add layers of sheet rock to make, or increase a safes fire protection! The upholstry inside is just for looks.
If you have a couple-three of these, hide 2 and keep one out in the open as an eye-catcher. In the eye-catcher, you put a 10-22 and your TX22. Put the higher dollar and/or sentimental value tools in the two hidden boxes. All of the tools will be kept out of the hands of little kids who haven't had any training yet, and two boxes of tools are out of sight of the bad guys. Take care and God Bless.
considering they show them with no optics on them in the photos these are junk that wont fit any real properly setup firearms, this channel seems to becoming full of cheap junk nowadays. Ill bet they will give law enforcement the master codes without a warrant to.
"well your mom didn't" OMG LOL
She regrets not swallowing!

I have been looking for something. Don't quite need a big expensive safe yet and the one without the little lock box looks like a good way to go.
This is exactly the conversion I was having with my wife. 2 of these are perfect for what I need. Delivery next week!
That would be a perfect compliment to a larger safe that is not quite large enough.
Shine on! That is why I no longer own my Liberty.
You, Sir, are in no position to criticize New Balance while being guilty of wearing Crocs.
Unhhunhhhhhhh.
Dats da truuff. 😅
I have the IKEA nightstand. Not sure how safe it is, but you want to talk about "quick access" ... in the middle of the night, it's the best! 😂
I like how you Troll the Trolls, Jeff! Awesome!

Much nicer than my 30 year old Stack-on!
Nice, Simple, and get the job done. I like it. 😊😊

I just tried both items and the codes worked for me. They are case sensitive, so I just copy and pasted them. Try that.
The least they could do is make them tall Enough for most rifles.
They do, it's just how you configure it.

LockPickingLawyer is watching this with great interest 👀

AAAAAAARRRRRGGGG..... One of THOSE stick things that hurt people all by themselves!!! (just a little sarcastic ya think?)
Definitely NOT a safe and barely a cabinet. No thanks
My momma did too like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha
This is sold and shipped by Fanmjia though Jeff. Not Amazon. Can I trust that?
Yeah, we have worked with this company for a while now.
Thank you for clarifying. Very much appreciated.
Too much money for what you’re getting.
No, I believe you’re getting a decent deal for sure.

What are you smoking? You just saw me put rifles WITH OPTICS in there. In fact only one of the four pictured did not have an optic.
