- Visited the Marion County Georgia offices. I had a pleasant experience until I was approached by Connie Harris. She said she called the deputies and then later appeared to have lied and said she didn't call them when asked again.

I'm not even 15 seconds into the video when I read your comment but in my little town there is a huge difference in the conduct of the police department and the Sheriff's Department. I am currently flipping over rocks in our Sheriff's Department through open records requests and they hate it. I've noticed most small-town Sheriff departments have a lot of nepotism and good old boys if you know what I mean

Have SLR and CRC considered building a joint building to use as a processing/storage center? You could include a commercial style meat processing area and a vegetable canning/freezing area. You could keep it ready year round and have plenty of storage as well.

I'm not at the stages where I want to record these people but I have began hitting my local sheriff's department and detention center with open records requests and initially they were happily to turn over the mundane nonsense like budgets and roster of employees but when I get to their emails and work phones that are provided by the county they throw the biggest fit. We had a Sheriff that was arrested for a DUI while driving his official vehicle back in September of 2021 and now that I'm requesting everything in relation to that DUI arrest they act like I'm Public Enemy Number One and the roadblocks begin

I'm a Civilian looking in and ran with the crowd when it came to your record. Also you being an Auditor just cemented my belief in what was being said. The tired and wrong attempt to bully public workers by saying things like "I pay your salary" is lame. The reality is you probably pay far less of their salary than they do. I can tell by the way your pronounced Buena Vista that you're not from Marion County so that means you're not paying sales tax there, property tax there, vehicle registration fees there, solid waste fees water/sewer fees, etc. All of the taxes that actually support county services and pay the workers who perform those tasks. All those people you were harassing were trying to work, and they live in that community so they are paying the taxes that support their salaries.
Your audit clearly let the water department and vehicle registration department know they were on notice! You really protected us in our building. Keep up the good work and go troll somewhere else!
