Just wanted to thank you for making this video. I have been unsure what selector to go with for my binary trigger. You have the only video of any manufacture that shows what works and what does not. Order placed!
I have to be very thankful to this video because it helped me troubleshoot a problem I vas having with the safety selector. Basically I discovered they forgot to put threadlock on one of the two "threaded pins" (I don't know the proper name, English is my second language) that hold the plastic safety levers. One of them unscrewed while shooting making the lever very stiff.
I purchased a safety delete, and the lubrication that came on the gun almost completely removed the white line on it. That said, I still love the parts you guys offer and the prices can't be beat.
As a left handed shooter I appreciate this and HBI’s selection of safeties! I will be getting the mini Al for the left side and a large thumb selector on the right! I had seen from a few posts that y’all’s pathfinder grip is a good feel, I’ll be placing my order soon! I like the charging handles yall make! But, only issue is I may have to grind it some of it away Where my optic sits doesn’t allow for the charging handle sit completely into its grove when the magazine is empty 🤔. Anyone have a suggestion?
I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Korbyn Harrison I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Oh damn, I wanted to get the ak style for the Airsoft cz Scorpion, but being select fire, it won't work... That was my big question, so thanks for showing the select fire version of the scorpion (even if it's not Airsoft, the select fire function is the same)
I just bought one of this and I'm glad I saw this video because I'll probably be purchasing the Right AK selector with a blank on the Left side Not because I'm Left handed but because I live in California where the grip wrap makes it really uncomfortable to use the factory safety on the left or I could just leave it there and not use it.... I don't know yet!!!
Is there any way to polish or smooth out the safety selector spindle? Engaging or disengaging the safety is clunky and requires too much effort. I have the HBI safety selectors and really like them over stock (non-AK style), but the safety selc spindle still requires too much force to engage/disengage.
One trick that we found here is to play with the tension of the trigger housing screw... The 3mm screw that is accessed through the trigger guard. Completely release the torque/tension from the screw, then begin operating the selectors while tightening the screw. There is normally a "sweet spot" where the screw is under tension and the selectors feel easiest to rotate. The 3mm screw "pulls" down on the front side of the trigger housing and if too tight/too lose causes the trigger housing to put excess pressure on the safety selector spindle. If that makes sense? It is best to tighten the screw until the sheetmetal housing and spindle are in perfect alignment. Polishing can also help, but be VERY careful because rounding edges over just makes the selector operation "sloppy" and not necessarily any smoother or lower force.
Does the ak safety work with franklin binary triggers? I want to get one, but I'm worried the ak selector cant go up high enough without hitting the upper receiver.
Is there any reason the hole won't align with the screw? When I put it together outside of the lower, it fits fine but then I try to actually install it the holes aren't flush. Is it me? Or is there any chance the selector is too thick??
Generally, if the selector screw holes are not lining up with the threaded holes in the spindle it is because the spindle itself is not fully seated/installed into the FCG. Typically the misalignment is about the thickness of the sheetmetal trigger housing, and this is because the spindle just needs to be pushed another 1/16" through the FCG. If that makes sense? (easier said than done, getting the detent cuts on the spindle that last 1/16" through the trigger housing can be tricky)
All of the Evo's shown are using factory disconnectors, nothing special done to them regarding reset. Some of the Evo's shown have our spring kits in them, but we have never noticed springs alone to change the reset sound. I wonder if it might be the microphone/audio? Sometimes when shooting the rapid up/down of shots being fired can cause microphones to ignore sounds that should be heard, or pickup sounds that would normally be too faint to be heard.... maybe this is the case? Is your trigger reset about the same pitch and volume as your safety selector detent?
That is a Griffin Revolution 9 that we have had for a long time. Older but GREAT design, one of the first "modular" or "k" configurable 9mm suppressors. For many years Griffin had the lowest profile 3lug mount on the market as well. Overall a great suppressor, there are many more similar options today; but even with the recent innovations in suppressor technology the Revo9 holds it's own quite well.
We work directly with several international exporters here in the US. Please contact us via email or our website and we can connect you with a few different options.

Don't worry, in the US people know english les than you and have no second language 😂
Just installed one of yours today. Quick and easy. You guys are great. Thanks
Been using your products for my scorpion for almost 2 years. Great products and very durable

😂 that’s an alternative cleaner maybe
HB Ind. is my new Safe Space!
ANOTHER excellent video and GREAT products! Thanks

was that an accidental bump fire around 7:25?
how were you able to get ahold of a full auto version of the scorpion? Thanks in advance

@Korbyn Harrison it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out !
@Everett Tobias no problem :)
As a left handed I apreciate a forward bolt release (to use with left side AK style lever.. )

@@hb_industries Wow, thank you for that response. Completley understood, I'll give it a try. Much appreciated!
Have the right side AK style. Works great!
Does the ak safety work with franklin binary triggers? I want to get one, but I'm worried the ak selector cant go up high enough without hitting the upper receiver.
You are correct, our AK style selectors will contact the trigger guard and prevent the trigger group from going into binary. Thumb selectors only :-)
@@hb_industries gotcha, thanks for the heads-up
Sweet! I live in phx do you have local pickup?
Yes, by appointment is best, please call/email to setup and swing on by!

So on an evo s1 would the extended ak style selector fit and function?
Are any of these compatible with the asg Evo 3 Airsoft gun
How did you get the trigger reset to be audible?
All of the Evo's shown are using factory disconnectors, nothing special done to them regarding reset. Have dual thumbs looks more like oem but better Hbi is top notch every order of mine is shipped within a couple of hours and 5star customer service
awesome video
Can you purchase an upper with the marks for a binary trigger?
If your wanting non fiction dots. Then better off making it lol
an install video wouldve been nice.
Any videos about the new handguard?
We definitely need more info on the upcoming handguards. Where be the videos!?
What suppressor are you using? Would you recommend it?
