"DEATH BY" Back Squats at 65lbs - Finished the round of 23 - 276 BS's in 23 minutes!!

  • Great 4pm Class today at St. Peters CrossFit!
    We started w/ "Death By" Back Squats at 65lbs. Death by means:
    Do 1 rep in the 1st minute, 2 reps in the 2nd minute, 3 reps in the 3rd, etc. Until you fail or "die."
    Due to class, this one had a cap of 22-23 minutes. I may have had 1 more minute in me, but it was getting really rough!!
    Then, hit a SUPER fun TEAM WOD after this:
    Athlete 1: Max Calories on the Echo Bike in 1 minute, then 30 seconds rest
    Athlete 2: 1:00 Bear Hug Sandbag hold (150lbs), then 30 seconds rest
    Then the Athletes switch.
    Each Athlete does the max cal bike 4 times and the Sandbag Hold 4 times.
    I partnered with our Oly Coach Eric and we combined for a total of 165 calories on the bike. ALL the pain!!
