I still have the one that came with my S8+ (so, not a fake) and it's surprisingly good. I never really cared about them but recently decided to give it a try, safe to say I was impressed for a merely IEM that came with my old phone. Typical Harman, a little bass heavy but overall a nice IEM even if you consider the $99 price tag back then. People who trashed these probably got the fakes.
These are a very good 'in the box' accessory tuned for the phone. For curiosity I tried them in my Kann and there was a significant boost! Still use them for my S10 as I prefer the black to the white. Not as good as a half decent set of iems. i.e tin t2, t3, p1,guideray gr158, zs10 pros but no-one will try and pinch them off you!! Yes I have the blons but still boxed atm as awaiting cable. As a side note I have just caught up with all BGGARs budget vids (day off work). I have come to the conclusion that I currently don't need any further budget items. I was thinking about TRN V90 and KXXS. Any opinions on that?
They weren't amazing but the samsung headphones that came with the s5 were okay. Blew the apple equivalent out of the water anyhow. From what I remember, a nice balanced sound.
BGGAR have you tried the new USB-C version of these that's included with the Note 10? They have better build/materials vs the 3.5mm version and the sound is further improved with more texture in the bass and somehow more "air" in the treble. I honestly find them more enjoyable to listen than my IE800's even though the treble isn't as detailed.
@@BaptizedTTV There's a bunch of Note 10 owners that throw the box and headphones away so someone might be willing to give them away for free :P I hope you like them if you get a change to try them.
The audio using the Gopro is much better than the other video cam. The vid quality from the Sony(?) is much better though. I've used the old LGxAKG ones and they're pretty good too. I would probably say that it's a matter of taste between the MH75x in terms of sound quality, but LG had had the much much better build.
Yes, these are good, I mentioned them in the discovery thread on Head-fi earlier - as these are basically a "re-discovery" for me. I had them laying around, and to my suprise they really sounded good when giving them a listen after laying there idle for a year or so.
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews Seen from a ChiFi perspective, I think 2020 will be a blast, really looking forward to the huge BA breakthrough in the budget range, as you've said yourself.
Can you confirm that you got these pairs from Amazon JP and can you provide a link to the exact listing you bought it from? I did find a 9000 yen listing, but the reviews complain about the lack of sound quality and durability typical of knock offs, does Amazon combine all reviews of products that have been listed to be the same? Can't find genuine ones anywhere. Somehow even big retail/electronics stores seem to be selling fakes as genuine, looking at the reviews. Maybe they're being conned by their suppliers? Samsung says it is not currently available through any of their retail partners. Loved mine that came with my S9+, accidentally wrecked it sucking one of the buds into a vaccum. I've had my fair share of hi-fi headphones and IEMs, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm very sensitive to comfort and need my main pairs to be comfortable for extended hours before I'd worry about sound to an extent. And these are the most comfortable in-ears I've had while sounding at least as good as most of the cheap chi-fi IEMs I've gotten based on rave reviews, definitely the earbud to come with a phone I've had. do I need to go buy another S9 or S10 to get genuine ones again...
I have the originals when they first came with the S8 in 2017... actually bought the phone for my younger bro, but kept those black earphones for my collection, as I did not want to try my luck with all the units sold elsewhere for $6-20 after reading a report from US Customs intercepting large quantities of counterfeit ones at a port of entry on the West Coast worth a few million dollars in street value. Just a few weeks ago, I bought the WHiTe version off someone who purchased the new S10 & did not care for them at all... All I paid for them was $5!!! What a great deal & they do sound very good, maybe slightly better than the 1st pair even though I didn't actually compare them side-by-side, yet ☺
I have these, they came with my phone. I like them a lot. Even a lot of my non audiophile friends got them with their phone and can tell they are very good
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews I'm looking forward to your 11/11 list. Hmm still pondering Roland's, fiio q5s, tapes. Blons have made it hard for me to spend money!
Hey man i have a s8 and a lot of people thrashed these iems and when i told em try changing the tips they laughed at me and didnt even tried it. Theres not much base but they sound decent enough so i keep using them until now the mesh broke and some wax got into the iem. They still work but idk for how long they will keep sounding properly
Bad guy, I've heard online the the AKG ear buds that come with the Samsung Galaxy S10 have more bass to them. Can you possibly graph the S10 AKG ear buds to see if its the truth or just internet B.S. Thank you in advanced. Also I took your advise and bought the Blon-03 a few months ago. Being an over the ear headphone guy I couldn't believe how well the Blon-03 performed in most all genre of music. Will always be watching your channel for your reviews. Keep up the great work and I love you honesty on your reviews as it saves us consumers a ton of money. Your Da man....
These came with my Phone. is it worth it buying a 32bit 384khz dac (Muse hifi m1 15 bucks) and some 80 - 100 bucks iem? Like a t3 plus, titan s or olinas, something like that...
Hi BGGAR, I have these which came with Samsung Note 10+ (type-c version) and I like them. And I want to buy BLONs as upgrade to them. Would BLON 03 really be an upgrade?
When I saw the intro to this vid, I thought that I was going to have to unsubscribe. I have these buds, and completely wrote them off. In fact, they were sitting beside me on the couch while I watched the review. In the middle of the review, I put them on and realized that why I wrote them off was due to the bass. They are just not snug enough in my ears to provide good bass. I swapped out the tips for a pair of dekoni's, and had my mind blown. These sound almost as good as my $300 sennheiser true wireless earbuds. However, the bass is still not as full and rich as the sennheiser's. I will definitely be using these, as I've been searching for a wired set of IEM's that provide as good a listening experience as the sennheiser's. Thanks!! btw, I listened using a FIIO Q1 Mark II
Glad I kept the sub ! They are pretty nice. I can get why the set has a fan club that keeps buying them and sometimes getting fakes unfortunately Q1MkII is a BEAST!. One of FiiO's all time best products
Try tape the front vent (the one near the nozzle) with small square of electrical tape - you'll be surprised how much more bass it will add to these otherwise bad designed iems. If after taping there is too much bass then try replacing electrical tape with something thats's porous like 3M micropore tape.
I just bought them on Amazon for 10€ , i compared them with my someone who has the same ones ( received with the s8 so real ones ) , they are actually real
I used to use these on short airplane flights. They are quite good actually, but I've never used them for music. I'll have to pull out a pair and listen to them. Good find bruh!! I wonder if they are worth getting modded to MMCX?
I have a pair with my note 8 and with my note 10 plus that are c.port but they didn't float my boat. They sound harsh to me and I've never used then since I got a c.port headphone adaptor.
When I got my V50 I actually took my old akg note 8 buds and was surprised how well they sounded when powered properly. not great bud much better, I saw then that Samsung done fucked up and lost a customer.
I estimate 90% of these out there are fakes. Either get them boxed with a phone or buy them from Samsung official stores only. I loved them as my backup unit in the bag. My main unit is CCA C12 and Samsung USB-C DAC (bought from Samsung official store).
