GMC Canyon for the win
Ordered my Denali in white . Had a canyon went to a 2020 F150 back to this truck . The F150 ride was really nice just don’t need the big truck now . Hope I’m not disappointed going back to the midsize.
What is the fuel economy like? I currently drive a 2022 Silverado 1500 trail boss with 33s and I’m averaging 17L/100km. I’m looking to trade in the Silverado for this exact truck, will I get better fuel economy? I live on the east coast
So during my week of testing I’m pretty heavy on throttle and I leave the truck on to take pictures and videos so generally it’s higher than what the average person will get. I averaged 14.3L/100km.
The light switch isn't a big deal to anyone except reviewers who seem to dwell on it forever despite not being personally opposed to it. I've had auto mode on my car for 5 or 6 years and never touched the light switch.
I totally agree! Auto works best and you’ll never have to touch it again.
Does it have a painted frame or wax coated???
I have a 23 AT4x and having some weird popping sound from the rear when turning. Might be leaf springs only had truck for a week. Really like the truck
I hear creaking in my back end as well . I have a 23 elevation 700 miles on it
5 ft 2 not 6 ft 2
Nice truck. That steering looks like a face staring back at me, though.
Question: on your B-roll, do you actually rack focus or apply an effect?
Best part of waking up is a smile in your truck.
The rack focus is done in camera, mostly shot on 60fps then slowed to 24
@@JimmyMak if you conform your shots, you could get someone to slo-mo mime actions of living with the cars you review like they do for Cialis commercials 😁
@@carloscanizares4699 LOL that would be a look
This or the 24 Taco Limited. Weighing my options
I haven’t gotten my hands on the new Tacoma yet so I can’t say. Both are now turbocharged 4 cylinders so it should quite comparable.
Get the GMC.
I'm literally in the same boat...although I fkin hate chrome, I want a more luxurious interior while still being able to tow a bit or use for camping etc. The tacoma needing a monthly subscription for remote start has me leaning abit more on the GMC side lately...I hate subscriptions
@@Caleb-il7om that interior in both Denali and AT4 are damn nice
U could get the denali black edition where all the chrome parts are blacked out@@Caleb-il7om
If it’s the best they wouldn’t by a Tacoma.
Sometimes the best doesn’t mean best selling. And best selling doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best all around.
@@JimmyMak let us know what the best is 5-10 years down the road from now. My bet is it wont be the GM truck.
@@kaikelii with all the new trucks getting major refreshes it’s really hard to say. The only one that’s consistent is the Nissan Frontier.
@@JimmyMak thats definitely true. I do however, have more trust in Toyota, i just feel they do all the necessary R&D with their mechanics. They've been using turbos for years in their Lexus models, but I do get what youre saying. A buddy of mine just got a 24 GMC Canyon Elevation edition, and they have drastically improved with the styling. I just dont trust GM or Ford reliability.
Make sure have a great budget for the frequent visits to the auto shop.
These new generation midsize trucks are trash. Love the cab space on the 2004 dodge Dakota
You’re shitting on this GMC and advocating for a Dakota? That’s fucking hilarious 🤣
@@Holden-McGrointhat’s what Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler/Ford fans do all of the time. They never wanna give *gm* their due credit.
