      So no joke my daughter is one year and five months old, she has been walking and running by herself for a couple months now. I did this and it works. Obviously the baby was already walking when he had it walk on its own at the end it's not that quick, but my daughter absolutely loved it and it is kinda like physical therapy. Training the leg movements and letting them safely figure out their balance while having fun. Gradually support less and less of their weight and they'll start quick.

      Hi early child care person here: it 100% works
      Don’t want to skip crawling stage though they need those muscles for walking running! Once baby can pull themselves up onto things and walk sideways against a couch, bed, or table, then try this🎉😊

    • @poppyflorist
      @poppyflorist 3 місяці тому +58

      Yes the above comment is true. I did this with my child. My parents and wife did not like it. But it triggers the muscle memory. The child could only do it for the first 20 seconds or so after the speed run, because it remembers the feel of it seconds after its done. But if he sits down or falls over, it's lost instantaneously, and we have to start over. It's muscle memory.
      Note- Btw, I did this a few weeks after I felt confident that the child could stand in its own and walk by holding. Else it won't work, obviously.

I did this with her for a few days every so often and she actually did learn how to walk! MD here. I know its beside the point of the video. However do not teach your baby to walk!!!
    They will start by themselves once their bones, joints and muscles are strong enough to support it. Some kids walk early some late. It doesnt matter. If you go too early it can cause health issues.
    Furthermore things like baby walkers and jumpers will cause structural damage. Beware fellow parents. :)
