It definitely works as of March 24. Just change the date/time if u’re in Japan timezone, and then follow the tutorial. Thanks mate!!

it works for me as of Sept 2022. Thank you. this method not only allows you to choose global but also Japan or Asia, any server at your preference.

It still isn't working using that same VPN and the program to uninstall. I'm following the directions exactly as they appear in the video.
I also really do live in Japan for now, so that may be an issue, but I'm still trying to use a VPN, so it shouldn't matter.

Can I ask a question? Since I've done this without watching this tutorial, what about the future updates? I mean, when an update comes in, do we have to do the same thing over again? Like, uninstalling the game via revo, use a VPN while downloading and after that, check the download setting? Or do we have to straight up download the update on Steam without doing those?
Hi, you don't need to redo everything. This process is for the first time installation since BBS usually detects your first IP on choosing a server. So unless you uninstall and reinstall no need to repeat the steps.

Doesn't matter what VPN I use, I'm never able to choose which server I want to play on. Always takes me to Japan server. So frustrating.

After receiving some help, it looks like some VPNs are not working. It took 3 reconnects to different Windscribe servers for it to work for me. Just follow the video guide after every failure. I also changed my time/date to US - not sure if this was an issue but it worked afterwards. Thank you very much for the help!

It wasn't working for me coz I was using japanese timezone at my windows, after changing it for NA Time zone it worket, so if u guy r having issues like me, just try it out ^^
(I also changed all windows regions to United Stats, and english) , but try out only the timezone I should say it should work
