1. You can keep the resolution of your timeline less than your export settings to lower the capacity on your computer. 2. "Force debayer to highest quality" is used only for RAW format files, so it is not mandatory to have it activated.
Recently got the Bmpcc 6k Pro + DJI Rs3 pro. Still have a so much to learn and understand, but these Filmspace videos have been making my video creation process so much better. Thank you!🤝
2:04 "from mastering codecs and formats to understanding bitrates..." Only mentions in the very end about codec used without justifications (10:20), and during video mentions bitrate being left at default (3:30) Don't like to complain but you're kind of WAY OFF on what you promise to teach and what you actually teach.
Thanks for the feedback! I will make sure to create a video more in depth on these topics. I’m also working on a video on how to export for each platform. Hoping to provide the value you’re asking for here in next videos.
Objectively these are the best settings for exporting Hollywood movies and Music videos but new tutorials for specific platforms will hopefully help with what you mentioned🙏🏾
@@justkayio We are looking for the video ”to master codecs and understand bitrates.” In this video those two were not delivered, so if you want an idea for a new video, there you have it :) ”How does a codec used change the way your video looks?” and ”Understand the bitrates: Why should you concider the bitrate when exporting a video?”
Many other tutorials on color management for Mac say to set the timeline color space to “Rec-709 A”, but you say to set the output color space to that. Do you mind explaining this reasoning?
First of wall, it is not even a good idea to export H264 from Davinci Resolve as it is not a good quality encode. Rather export high quality Prores file and use something like Handbrake to make the h264 file.
Nice video! Question. Why do I keep getting “media offline” when I import my footage in davinci resolve? Does it have to do with my camera settings? How do I fix it! It drives me nuts! Thanks in advance!
Do you have the free or studio version? If you have the free one it doesn't support some formats like MOV iPhone footage to 422 10 bit footage. That's probably the reason why you're getting the media offline error.
Beware of this channel! Sells luts and they don’t work node tree has an error in it and when I’ve asked for support was no reply, don’t waste your money like me.

Yes totally🙌🏽
@@MohdMubeen7 for example, you have 4K footage. You create timeline in 1080p, make your edit and while exporting select 4K. 👌
@@MohdMubeen7 No, that’s the trick 😉

Amazin video, How do you edit your voice over for your videos ?
What lights are those in the thumbnail?
But how to render and keep RAW footage (consolidate clips) out of editing to hand to a colorist (also on Resolve)?
Kay, can you share us the best drone settings?
I began using davicni .. and was overwhelmed. Ended up using capcut instead 😅
You not renderingoutin AV1,i've heard this is the new best format ?
Awesome video as always🥳🥳
Thank you Bro

Will consider this.
Totally agree with this. It is one extra step , but using Handbrake can get you a much smaller file size without loosing that much quality.

Well Made👀
HI, what lighting set ups do u use??
Why do you have bitrate set at auto? Would this affect compression when uploading to UA-cam?
Also do like this. Didn't notice more compression than usually. :)
Is the format quick time ? What about mp4 ?
Can you show me how to make davinci less lag and crash pls this has been my problem for a long time now.
