Hello, no it has been working fine so far. Battery life is also good on my end does last about day with average use and I have also background apps refresh off. The few times I experienced heating is when I had it on wireless charging but it is somewhat expected when not using the cable charger. Other than that 0 issues. Hope it helps 🙂
