picking up a pair today, thanks for the in depth review that most other youtubers won’t bother doing, confirmed i like it so very excited to try them :).
I just received these as a gift, having had the prior Beats generation, which I liked very much. I actually prefer the old ones over these new beats. Three cons come to mind: 1) I wear glasses, and these headphones do get tight when I have my glasses on after a few hours. I hope this will improve over time as my beats are still new. 2) they do not disconnect automatically/pause your audio, so if you are listening to something, you have to pause it manually before removing it (it's no biggie, but I would expect more from premium headphones). 3) my biggest issue is that they do not turn on/off when folding them like the prior would. I would remove and fold and call it a day... not this headphone. You have to again manually hold the off button to turn it off so it doesn't connect to your devices. Pros: 1) these headphones are more comfortable around the ear as they sit outside the earlobes, 2) I got the beige ones, and although the overall design did not change from one generation to the next, the new ones look more slick. 3) the casing. I like this one better, it is compact and even has small compartments for your cables. 4) they bring cables to charge and connect, which is crazy as they come from apple... Overall I would give them a C+ or B-. Right now, they are on sale on Amazon and best buy. I would not pay full price for them.
I bought them and honestly everything about them is great but comfort. They are comfortable at first, but after a while, they start to get uncomfortable and my ears start sweating. I don’t know if this is an issue with me, but I’m going to be returning them in favor of the xm4s Update: I got the xm4s and didnt like them as much as the beats so I returned them and bought the beats again. LOL Another update: after using them for about a month, they are really comfortable and the tension gets lighter with use. Would recommend these headphones
Thank you for the useful review! Also including how it feels while wearing glasses! Because I wear glasses mostly when watching movies at home for the clarity.
@@BadKid95US they were honestly okay! They did not feel too uncomfortable. Here and there I would take the headphones off but overall not bad. It’s doable.
I just ordered Beats Studio3 Wireless in the decade red and black edition for 139€ on ebay. So happy I won that auction. Completely new and sealed. Very excited for when they arrive. At that price I can’t complain. Also more bass, a good functional case, louder volume and more comfortable cushions. Also loved the effect at 6:49 👍🏻.
these are usually $349 but now they are $169 for black Friday and cyber Monday, considering they're $200 cheaper than the AirPods Max and still another $180 off thats a little over 50% off. I'm thinking about getting one!
The navy is colour is very cool :), I blindly bought these in Navy blue, love the ascent haha😅. 10+ years ago the OG studio were great :). And I personally have power beats wireless pro for gym :) had them for years, time to get some over the ear.
They have good sound as long as you are an Apple user, but in my experience it is not worth paying the regular price, I bought them for 179.99, the Bose Quite ultra is a better option to buy.
i just dusted off my beat studios after kinda forgetting about them after they broke. i stopped using them thinking it would be a couple hundred to fix., i just needed a $20 part...I'm so pumped to have these back. but to your point about listening to music on your MacBook and taking a phone call from your phone..I'm pretty sure you can do that with any pair of headphones assuming you have calls set up on ur mac.
I just picked up a pair of these on sale for $150. I have to say, they are a HUGE upgrade from the Studio3’s and at the $150 price point, they’re worth it
They’re decent but they’re not worth it. I just picked up a pair of 2016s solo3 and they’re working perfectly fine for me. I want to be able to hear things around me to not look like I have big headphones on and I picked them up for only 74 dollars that’s a steal
just got myself a pair of these due to the price drop so glade I did they are more comfortable than my AirPods Max also I can now play lossless audio with the usb cable connected to my iPhone and I can use them with my audio interface with the other cable. simple things just seem to work and these work for me in my studio and with just chilling picked them up for £199 gonna sell the max which will pay for these and still give me some cash left over - happy days
I have been buying headphones and returning like 3 times. Got some JBL - returned cause it was small and not loud and too flat. Got the XM5s - too flat, not loud enough, played around with the equalizer and just didn't work for me. I need good bass so not sure what the hype was over the XM5s. Got the Beats Pro. Very quiet, had to turn up volume like 80% to hear well. Bass is good enough and sound is clear enough. We shall see. I might keep these.
I returned these right away. They weren’t loud at all. TheSony Xm4 sound was amazing but they would fall off my head at the gym . So I had to get the AirPods Max
Yeah I just bought them and when I tried them on at the store it felt like the perfect headphones but now at home they suckkkk. I don’t know if it’s my pairs that are damaged but the noise canceling feature doesn’t work at all and the volume is only loud enough when it starts to hit 80%. My Walmart brand wireless buds are veryyy loud just at 40% and they were only 10$ on sale. Plus these headphones are too expensive for how clacky they are
I ordered the black one because i saw how much fingerprints the blue pick up in a video, but seeing your review of the black one doesn't seem much better. Now im thinking i should have went with the sanstone. I believe there is multipoint type feature for android users wih a chromebook . Thank for the review.
If I was within return or exchange policy I would've switched to sandstone. I put a microfiber cloth in my carrying case to clean it a bit after the gym lol
Nice, however, I have the (color Dune) Kim EDITION and I'm not impressed with the quality of the sound, which isn't as loud as a few of my other Beats Studio wireless and Solo-2 Luxe Edition. The battery life on the Beats Studio Pro x Kim Edition is amazing. I listened for 2 days and never went below 50% charged. The sound quality is why you're buying a $350 set of headphones that fell short with this edition, and wearing the headphones wasn't comfortable longevity. After a while, my ears began to sweat and felt the need to remove the headphones for about 10 minutes. In fact, I took the headphones off and turned up the volume because I was still testing the longevity of the battery. I decided to keep the headphones because of the unique and limited edition color.
I’m definitely having issues with mine. I brought some three days ago. I have the iPhone 14 pro and people kept randomly saying out of nowhere. I sound like an alien on the phone to the point where they just hung up because they could not hear me. It was just a weird annoying sound and I also kept hearing clipping sound on my left ear and it kept randomly doing that with different phone calls so I decided to take them back to the store, they gave me a new set. on the same day with the new ones people all of a sudden they said they can’t hear me out of nowhere to the point where I had to hang up and call them back and I’m buying these products from Best Buy so I don’t know if they need to be updated or this product is not for my iPhone or I’m just having bad luck
So I went and bought a pair today to compare to my Airpod Maxs. The Beats don't compare at all. The airpods are more comfortable, mines the falling off your head. Mostly it came down to the sound for me however. The APM just sound so so good. Clean profile, the bass is amazing without sacrificing the mids and highs. I just hate that I had to spend an extra $30 on the bi directional 3.5mm to lighting cord, I'm not sure how apple is the only one that makes a bi directional one. Also to be noted, I use primarily apple music and tidal for playback. I sync both with Spotify since they have the superior playlists.
I have the new beats studio pros and I do wear glasses on a daily yeah and after a while I noticed that the clamping was really tiring but after a while, breaking in the headphones they do loosen up a little bit so it’s not as much
That is super insightful!! I still use these as my gym headphones. but for comfort my favorite headphones in this price range are the Sony Xm4. I also should've put that Beats get caught with my longer hair now when I remove them a certain way.
I’ve been wanting AirPods Max for a long time but they are too expensive, I got these on sale for $180, not as expensive as AirPods Max and still have similar features so…anyway, they are an upgrade from my solo 3 and solo pros
@@SlateNFriendsI try it on at Best Buy. The most uncomfortable thing I ever try on compare Sony 4 n 5. Probably because of my big ears. I would have grabbed it if it’s more comfortable on my ears
A static noise randomly began on the right ear while using ANC…after using these 1x a week for the past 3 months. I haven’t yet tried to do any troubleshooting or find out what could be the problem. I then researched that there are other people experiencing the same issue.
I had Beats before. I noticed the left earbud wasn't working and I haven't gotten another pair of Beats since. I might end up getting the BoseComfort Ultra. Right now I'm wearing the AUSDOM headphones and I might replace them later for the BoseComfort Ultra. The AUSDOM headphones aren't really all that great. They can't even drown out noise like the most expensive ones can, which I noticed straight away when I was playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and my family were talking in the dining room. I could STILL hear them talking, even with ANC switched on.
Got them on sale for $180 after tax and all, love them so far as gym headphones because I baby my airpods max just at home or limited outside. I do miss the water proofing of past iterations but they feel lighter, comfortable and great sound quality but of course I am hoping they improve in the future
Ik it’s least of what anyone buying should be concerned about but I really like the case compared to the other ones. Yeah it’s not hard shell but it’s more idk casual and really like the inside pockets it has
How’s the sound quality? Only thing I care about. I want the best available sound but I’m not spending 300+ on headphones like Bose or Sony. I don’t even care about ANC. These on sale are the best option I can find.
The sound quality is great. Keep in mind if you want to listen to lossless and hi-res quality music, Bluetooth will never achieve that. No matter what headphones you have. Bluetooth tech cannot achieve that. You will need to be wired. For example, these headphones can support lossless via the USB C or the 3.5mm jack. Good luck!
Honestly it’s all about taking care of them and knowing how to my dad bought the old ones over 5 years ago and the sound is still good everything is like it’s supposed but the headphone thing around it gets kinda destroyed but you can buy a couple for 20 dollars.
I picked up the Beats a few days ago. The ANC isn’t that great which is the main reason I picked them up, other than the reason that I washed my AirPods in the washer and didn’t get Apple Care. I’m gonna be keeping them for another week and if they’re still uncomfortable I’m definitely buying a new pair of AirPods.
I ended up getting both and honestly there both really good. The quality of the Studio Pro is really good especially with the discounted price right now👍
for anyone who has previously owned the studio 3, how durable would u rate it out of 10? considering its made of plastic and they get folded/unfolded frequently
Had mine since 2020, I’d say out of 10, it’s a 6.5. Folding and unfolding is fine and causes no issues, but since it’s plastic, I feel that it’d break more easily or dent if you dropped it outside. The ear cups however, did rip for me after 1-2 years from just general use.
@@FahmiK7 thank you very much for ur informative feedback! i just came back from the apple store after testing them in person and trying out all the features (most importantly the noise cancellation & spatial audio). i actually have never owned an over the head headphones before, i mostly prefer earphones like air pods. but what ive noticed just after putting the breats headphones on, is that they press inwards on ur upper jawline. and after nearly an hour of listening to a variety of audio sounds like podcasts, music, football highlights, my jawline felt uncomfortable. im starting to think how would it feel if i had worn them for hours like if i spent some time studying at a cafe or i was watching a movie. needless to mention, if i were eating or drinking and wanted to listen to something!
If you plug these into a PS5 controller via 3.5mm jack will the noise cancellation feature work? Or when using it as a wired headphones you can’t have the headphones on?
You didn’t mention if can you use the 3.5 mm cable without a charged headphones. Solo 3 you can have a dead battery and had never even charge them for a year and still be able to use the cable jack and listen to music or watch a movie. Can you check 🙏🏼
That's a strange but good question, are you going to only charge your phone and never the headphones? I'm having trouble imagining a scenario lol. Mine just arrived today, I just won't charge them when they go dead if you want.
I had to skim through this video really quick to remember which one I was rocking. This is my everyday bag amzn.to/48B4WSj (holds my gear to make UA-cam videos). I also show my gym bag for a bit if you mean that one it's from "flag Nor Fail". They are out of stock at the moment. Hope this help bro
Does this new model allow you to use the cable with a microphone, so that it is possible to use the microphone with the product turned off? and the audio only comes out using the cable, just like in Studio 3
it's common for over the ear headphones not have IPX rating. From my experience being Gyming for over a decade with headphones/earbuds my person feedback is. I use headphones for lifting ( I dont do cardio with them, or go to a steam or sauna with them. If I want to do any of those activities I use earbuds for that) Just my thoughts but I never had pair of headphones messed up on for those reasons.
I just bought these for $199 and they are NOT worth the price. The technology is horrendous. No speak to chat. No on ear detection. No sleep mode. No multipoint connectivity. I was hoping the sound and fit would be worth it but it’s not lol
No sound leakage. The Beats Studio Pros dont go as Loud as the Studio 3s but personally I only put them at 70%. After that its simply to loud for my ears and there is no sound leakage. I couldn't image using them at 100% volume.
I totally get that. On my road trip I did I wore glasses those 3 days. Thats when noticed how annoying they felt with glasses on. Still tho I really like that snug fit for the gym (I wear contacts)
UPDATE: The Beats Solo 4 have now been released. Video on how they compare to these is now LIVE: ua-cam.com/video/1NfEl5pXL28/v-deo.html

I returned them, I wear glasses almost all the time and the cartilage earring was painful at times
ARE THEY WIRELEsS
What is the backpack you use?
I had to skim through this video really quick to remember which one I was rocking. This is my everyday bag amzn.to/48B4WSj (holds my gear to make UA-cam videos). I also show my gym bag for a bit if you mean that one it's from "flag Nor Fail". They are out of stock at the moment. Hope this help bro
Purchased mine from Best buy. They had some crackling sounds and drifting problems. Need a new pair
Did you mention anything about the audio/sound? Watched twice and didn't hear anything about aoind quality?
I use the multi-point connection with my Beats Solo Pro all the time… did they remove it for Studio Pro?
What do you think about the xm5s ?
What is the name of music you're playing in the background during the section where you're on the plane?
Soulriver by Daniel Brown
Does this new model allow you to use the cable with a microphone, so that it is possible to use the microphone with the product turned off? and the audio only comes out using the cable, just like in Studio 3
I got one as a “hand me down” but thanks for the info!
Can't beat that deal!
Beats is finally beats again lol... Love these
I actually would of picked the sandstorm as well but I’m ok with the black ones
good review bro, what camera do u use??
I really appreciate that Adi. I'm using a Sony A7s III!
Until apple lower the price on the air pods pro max these are better
Curios to see when new AirPods Pro Max release if the 1st Gen price drop significantly 🤷
hi, are beats studio pro suitable for the gym even if they don't have ipx protection?
it's common for over the ear headphones not have IPX rating.
They have multy point connection but not for apple, only windows and android!
What about the battery life?
Battery life is great. Like 40hrs without noise cancellation and like 20+ with.
Like so good
Thanks for mentioning the fingerprints on the black headphones.
I just bought these for $199 and they are NOT worth the price. The technology is horrendous. No speak to chat. No on ear detection. No sleep mode. No multipoint connectivity. I was hoping the sound and fit would be worth it but it’s not lol
Can you use them with the AUX if the battery is dead? or is it still the same as the Studio 3s where they have to be charged for any use.
U can use if they die
Good review...just picked up 2 pairs on the military exchange for $179/each.
How do i make mine loud these are quite asf with no bass and even in the one dot mode
by selling them doh
Honestly they do clamp pretty good but my skull can’t and crusher blow these things away
Does anyone know the name of jazz piece playing in the background of this video??
Soulriver by Daniel Brown
ive seen a bunch of hate and a bunch of love, should i get these??
No
nope
if i connect the earphones to iphone with the cable, will it charge automatically and eat my iphone's bateriee??
It doesn’t charge through Headphones Jack it charges with a USB C charger so the answer is No
Can you use this with the 3.5 cable with no charge?
yes
bro they are not touch controls. they are actual tactile buttons.
I’ve had mine for about a month & they’re easily the best wireless headphones out there imo. Also I got them for 100$ brand new 😂
I got mines for $169
Amazon has them at $179 right now
Hey, does the sound leak? like can othere ppl around you here the misic when you turn the volium on
No sound leakage. The Beats Studio Pros dont go as Loud as the Studio 3s but personally I only put them at 70%. After that its simply to loud for my ears and there is no sound leakage. I couldn't image using them at 100% volume.
@@Aesthetic_Al I just got this today and I love this that do not leak any sound thanksss
Well I didn't get the beats I git bose Ac 45 and that are soooooo good.. The beats felt cheap in my hand
@@vvs_InderBose are better and Beats Pro leak the noise
So when you use this and turn it up no one else can listen to your music
Thanks from Chicago
man i just bought these for someone on christmas wtf man
Can other people hear the audio when your playing it this is my make it break
Does the sound leak ?
No. I've tested them at full volume with my partner stood next to me - she couldn't hear a thing.
yes
Flying spirit is crazy work
I just started wearing my glasses again u just gotta get used to it is all
And they do go all the wayy over your ears you have to extend them to fit right
Great infromation from Chicago
did he really just said the xm4 werent as stretchy as the beats? wake up to yourself
Buy sennheiser momentum 4, you will not regret
I have this same problem before.
Thanks!
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
I don’t like that they are not loud at all
How do you use Siri on this?
And then there’s me.. watching this with my brand new pair of beats studio pro.. 😅
If the were not so tight on sides of my head these would be a def buy. I use glasses
I totally get that. On my road trip I did I wore glasses those 3 days. Thats when noticed how annoying they felt with glasses on. Still tho I really like that snug fit for the gym (I wear contacts)
