The Caballus Series is a Syntacs Final Adventure in Ark Survival Evolved before making the switch over to ARK Survival Ascended later this year. In this series Syntac will tame, breed and mutate any creature he can get his hands on from the roster of mods such as Paleo ARK, ARK Additons and Animals of Atlas.

I have TLC update idea for the Dilo
They get a non rideable saddle with armor like hyeanadons, but on its back is a spray cannon that uses the dilos poison spit and shoots way further and faster. It could slowly fill up a small tank over time and then when its full you whistle it to attack something and it shoots all the poison and stacks up a ton of slowness and poison damage.

Damn, getting stuck in that small ravine was the worst that could've happened to you. Each time she bumped into a wall she switched sides, so when she was stuck in the wall she just constantly switched...
Nah that is 100% random but the rage meter spikes when they're stuck and that prolongs the taming and dumps the effectiveness. If RNG just happens to be terrible they could even just refuse to turn at all

I feel like a saddle that enhances the thorny dragon's needle attack into a shotgun-like attack would be cool
Based of the colors and patterns you should name the andrewsarchus Rajah (tiger from Aladdin)
I think creatures with tek saddles should have turret saddles but you don’t unlock them until like 5 levels later than their normal saddle

25:33 This kind of additional saddle would be huge for the Diplodocus, for instance. Also I'd love a sniping creature, as shooting rounds is already taken (Andrew, Velo...). I'd like to see a creature focused on a different approach, basically. In general anything that is doable in Ark, should be doable with a creature. As a principle. So : ballista saddle, canon saddle, you name it.
Also I'm hoping for a taming method TLC for some creatures, including the Andrew. I don't mind minigames, I mind that they're annoying, and repetitive for high level individuals.

I think the trike should have a mini gun tlc. It’s already got the natural shield and needs something to make it a bit better.

If you do go for Fjordhawks, I big time recommend using wild Brachiosaurus and supplementing with Ovis, since progress is determined by the harvest health of the corpse (levels won't matter). It won't come out as 100%, there's no way to do so with em anyhow, but it'll come out high and you won't need to sacrifice a boatload of Ovis for one hawk.
Finally a ovis mutton farm, after like 37 episodes

I love all the builds. I used dwarven builder mod so my fabi would fit in my castle.
Syntax ... 💡
Use your Razortooth Camouflage ability.
Go to the Ice Wyvern Area Invisible.
Build a Base near there. Thick enough to not take ice breath effect/damage. A Place to Retreat to if chased. Open enough you can attack them with rifles, Trangs, for getting wyvern milk, etc....
You gotta play some andrewsarchus compy golf with the boys
on fjordur my favorite travel mount is the procoptodon. it's purely just for travelling when you dont have a flyer yet, though lmao. they do have good weight, though, so it makes for good metal runs early game since it's an easy and quick knockout
Do andrewsarchus golf, tame some compys and put them on passive and then unclaim them. Then you could try kicking them around
This has been such a fun series to watch! I've been playing the map alongside you (with as many of the mods as I could figure out you have XD) and I've been having a blast! The loot drops can be insane, I got flak gauntlets with 1280% armor the other day XD

The Trike could do well with a turret saddle. Maybe something like a rail gun saddle, or a slow-firing sniper turret saddle, like that two-barreled turret gun from Choo Choo Charles. The Stego could have a saddle that deploys a swarm of point-defense drones that block a percentage of incoming fire for allies (not for the stego itself, since they already take half damage). Special helmets for pachycephalosaurs, to allow bonus torpor damage, would be interesting. There's a whole slew of things the devs could do to add variety and utility to their roster of existing dinos.
One of the things I'm hoping WildCard does with ASA is to update some of the older, more dated dino models/rigs, and abilities. A list of dinos that could do with a model update include, imo:
- Paraceratherium
- Mosasaur
- Sarco (Yes, I do mean *again*. If the Deinosuchus can look as good as it does made by a modder, the sarco can look nice, too)
- Megalodon (I'm terrified of the ocean, but I think it also deserves cool-looking critters)
- Bronto (maybe a model and attack update?)
- Anky (maybe a little model update or some natural armor because it's so slow)
- Ichthyosaur
- Plesiosaur
- Giga (just a little love for the model and rig; although I've grown to associate fear with that silhouette, they look a little derpy, imo)
Brontos should have a fortress saddle with cannons and turrets
Bronto and Quetz could've easily had a shooting saddle. Basically anything that had a platform.

There are really really really pretty crystal wyvern in a snowy cave up north. They are so beautiful and so colourful they will make you cry! I feel a taxidermy decoration would look amazing in your base
A turtle with a harpoon/ ballista saddle would be pretty cool early/midgame

I wish there were normal saddles without turrets as I like the primitive stuff more but a trike with double barrel guns plus grenade launcher would be pretty boss.

they should definitly rework the tropeo saddle for ASA. maybe instead of having a fixed grenade launcher, have a ranged weapon slot where you put in a weapon of your choice. and then have the saddle actually give higher armor values and just take the dmg value from the gun you put into it.
Hey syntac. If this is going to be your last ark series for survival evolved. Why dont u install the hybrid mod towards the last few episodes and create an army of the spider monkey to put into axeman's base? I'm sure he'll love it 😂

The only thing I don't like about Andrewsarchus is that saddle it just feels a bit much
I think they could put a spotlight on a bunch of the overlooked tames by giving them a new purpose or function. I know I would love a trike tlc, they are good early game but overshadowed by even the iguanadon. A tek saddle that boosts the charge would be dope!

I haven't tried this before but maybe try netting it then trapping it in a decent sized pen so when your taming it it only has there to run

Desmodus are definitely on Cab, I’ve tamed a few :) won’t spoil where exactly, but they’re in a harder area of the map. I didn’t have to go caving to find them.

We have all shot a Dino and ruined the tame after knocking it. I did it yesterday with a thyla. First time in a long time but when you are on a pvp server it gets hectic
When I got my first time I did the stupid thing and shot it with a tranq arrow because I was still new to ark and destroyed its effectiveness😅

Nugget make'n biscuits! The mini-game for the andrew is so frustrating that my friends asked me to add immersive taming to our servers. ASA is the perfect opportunity to overhaul/tlc saddles, so many saddles are samey and boring so some changes, even just cosmetic, would be totally welcome!
Ive never gotten a good return with a mining drill. Anky harvesting metal is always better and the ascendant mining drill I used on obsidian got pretty much the same amount as I got from a primitive metal pick. Only difference is the mining drill harvested a bunch of berries at the same time which I then had to drop on the ground.

Speaking of new saddles for ark... wondering if the Turtles will get a boost as they aren't really relevant after early game tame so maybe a saddle for later game as an extra that has a gun style saddle? I think that would be pretty cool

i think a good creature for having a new saddle should be a trike, like say you can unlock the new saddle when you unlock rocket launcher and it basically makes the trike a tank that fires a high power single shot before a reload. would give trikes something to make them more useful in later game

If it's been long enough for him to forget about Andrewsarchus taming and how annoying it is, good thing he didn't actually try to find and tame a high-level fjordhawk. I still remember the utter pain of taming one on my single-player server (free version from Epic Games Store, so zero mods, just what I could pull off with research, dedication, and digging through .ini files), where even straight-up cheating and spawning in brontos that I then insta-killed with console commands to make absolutely sure I didn't accidentally hit the fjordhawks and ruin the tame that way, since they flit randomly right in front of me all the time, it still took absolute ages because the stupid little bastard kept flying away after eating and never getting anywhere near the ground, to the point where it started losing taming effectiveness due to starving itself to death. 😤
