The Aérodrome de Peyresourde, opened in 1971, has benefited from a strong exposure thanks to the film Tomorrow Never Dies. From 1971 to 1997, the small airfield welcomed a few mountain aviation enthusiasts, but attendance was very low.
The filming of Tomorrow Never Dies changed the situation. Since then, the airfield, highly exposed, has even been renamed “Altiport 007”.
