At 4:07 the patient presents with a severe mesio distal fracture of tooth #31. I the last 40 years my treatment advice has changed considerably for patients with fractures like this. Over the past 40 years I have referred most cases for endodontic treatment performed by a very experienced endodontist. The endodontists considered the prognosis "guarded" After these patients had endodontic treatment I restored their tooth with a full coverage crown. 3 years later most of these vertically fractured teeth needed to be extracted .
A digital copy would be amazing, you should consider having that option too. I do like the physical copies, but due to the space in my office, having a digital copy I could carry around on an iPad or pop up on the TV screen would be even better.
I also have digital copies of the two books on my computer. The books are often easier when I am consulting with a patient in person in the office. Take your practice to the Top Tier. Thanks, sir I'm imagining this book in front of my patients they will understand what I'm trying to elaborate to them. Hope this has Hi res soft copy for a new beginning of my practice.
Don't forget you need a good camera to take excellent diagnostic photos of the patient's teeth so they can see what their teeth look like after viewing the different cases in the photo books similar to their dental condition. Too move forward with comprehensive treatment, my opinion is patients must have a clear understanding of their condition and their treatment options. Describing their condition and treatment options verbally is not enough. Take your practice to the Top Tier. At 9:00 why couldn't all of those amalgams be replaced with composite - did the actual teeth have cracks in them which necessitated the provision of indirects?
Probably either significant cracks or interproximal fillings. The point of this video was to demonstrate a comprehensive exam and. consultation. Take your practice to the Top Tier. Interesting. That has not been my experience so long as the fracture does not extend through the floor of the pulp chamber or well down the root.

Terrific. Subscribe to DentistryMasterClasses.com if you want the really good videos.
Incredible gifts to the younger dentists. Dr. Cutbirth, should I be worried about grinding against lower anterior composites opposing a CD?
I am not sure what a "CD" is. I would suggest a proper nightguard for most patients to help prevent teeth wear and breakage of restorations.
Complete denture

Why does my dental expensive night guard looks so different than his at the 7:00 mark? Sigh.
I cannot tell you. Some dentists make different kinds of nightguards.
