Hello fellow introverted montrealer! Really glad I found your channel, we seem to have similar tastes (in both yarn and decor, we have almost the same lamp 😂). I hope you come to knit city montreal, I heard it's a really good place to meet people and make connexions :)
Wonderful well-thought out goals, fellow Canadian!! You’ll love Peer Gynt! Right now I’m knitting the Amy Sweater with it. So soft!! Another wonderful soft yarn that I used for a folded neck is Drops Nepal. Made a beautiful sweater! It will be fun to see how you make out with your future knits! I know what you mean about constantly changing them when new patterns surface!
I’m working on The Lakes pullover v-neck as I watch this and have recently finished the Champagne Cardigan so I would highly recommend it for your cardi choice. New subscriber added towards your 5k goal for the year.😂
Hi Allison, thank you for the video. Im also hoping to consider my stashed yarns for any new projects. I've recently joined in the Stornoway KAL, and am mainly using a really old yarn i had in stash. I also have a project on the needles using 2 KFO yarns.....i think you will love using them.
We have a lot of the same goals this year and we've got this! I really enjoy your presence and personality and can't wait to see more of you on here! If you join any KALs this year let me know, I have a large stash to work through myself and I've been wanting to join a KAL and put myself out there as well :)
Thanks for a great video! As a heads up, the KFO marzipan color way leans more cool white instead of cream (at least the fingering Merino one does). I think that color would look great on you, TBH but I look forward to whatever you choose!
12000 meters approximately 6 sweaters as I see it . I think I have 20 sweaters in my stash! Gulp 😮 But I think I’m going to ditch some of that yarn ,,, hands getting stiff for rustic worsted 😢.
I don't why deciding to make things for oneself is considered selfish... I don't think you started knitting for others ? And I don't think you continue knitting for others ? And don't get me wrong, I'm mostly a gift maker, but it is also kind of for "selfish" reasons : I want to make a projet but not necessarily the finished object so I gift it. I knit, crochet and sew because I want to, not for anything else. This concept of "selfish knitting" is starting to bother me... Also ! As someone also obsessed with red, I agree, it's hard to stop knitting thing in that colour. I think you convinced me to make a bright red garment though hehe....
I enjoyed this so much! Sending you loads of positive energy for all your beautiful intentions and plans for the year!
This might be a little late, but I really love Circle of Stitches in Salem if you happen to travel out of Boston when you’re visiting!
Agreed 100%! I visited them last year and was amazed by their selection

I enjoy listening to you! Keep going, you'll reach 1,000 in no time! Now to see where I can find me some Peer Gynt yarn 😊
We were all withdrawing for one of your podcasts at this point!

Looking forward to seeing your Dagmar jacket! I’m planning to make the zipped version, casting on in March 😁
Ahh I can’t wait to see it!
Love your statement piece ideas! If you're heading south of Boston check out Plymouth Harbor Knits. Enjoy your trip.
Ohh thanks for the suggestion! I’ll see if we have time to fit it in 👀

Ohhh thanks for the heads up! I’ll have to see if I can find the colours in person so I can compare
I'm working on a siri cardigan, loving the texture and cables
Highly recommend checking out Gather Here in Cambridge when you visit Boston!
Ohhh, noted!
