This controller helped me transition from my *coughs* “free” version of FL 11, to 20 when I paid up and got my legit copy. Still use it every day and I love it for the scale hacks, step seq and browser, plus transport override when another window is open.
What's up geniuses? Hoping you guys have a wonderful weekend! Let me know your thoughts on the controller in the comments below :) Link to controller: amzn.to/3hRjMdm
Big up my friend I found out you can connect up 2 4 units together!!! I haven’t used it yet but I can’t wait to get my hands on 1 thanks for video bless 🙏
Thank you for a real updated review of this controller. 2021 still debating if I will get it. I don't understand why Akai and Image Line will not update this with velocity sensitive pads by now everyone wants it.
It definitely seems worth it for the $129 (Canadian dollars) the version without software costs at my local music store. I mostly want it for it's recreation of the step sequencer, as that seems like it'd make drum programming way easier. The lack of velocity sensitivity doesn't bother me at that price, since i have another controller that can do that and i always tweak the velocity of stuff after recording anyhow.
thanks for the vid bro! you did it really nice with the sections in the video too. If it's not going to be any faster than using a mouse and keyboard, I don't know if it's worth it.
I believe we need a Fire 2 with velocity sensitive pads and if they can somehow incorporate actual keys that can be AMAZING. I sold mine over a year now because I need keys. If they manage to create a controller with keys, i would consider buying.
@@adrianleivas8160 I did eventually. I currently have the Novation LaunchKey Mini MK3 which has keys and pads. I love playing Melodies on the keyboard feeling, but I still would love to have an intuitive workflow within the controller itself on FL Studio. Like for example, the launchkey mini mk3 has deep integration with Ableton Live and it has keys. That’s something I would love to see with FL Studio. A controller with deep integration that has keys without the need to write python code to make it work. Just plug in and go.
Lol wtf I've been literally thinking about buying a controller for FL the entire day and this pops up at 12 in the morning. I got the Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3 but it's pretty hard to integrate with FL. Might give this a shot, thanks man 😁
Haha, I haven't been able to mess around with the Launchkey Mini MK3 yet. I got the MK2 and it's pretty great for FL but the compatibility lacks in some areas. I was thinking the MK3 might be better at that, but most people have been saying they've been experiencing a hard time with it. I'd love to know your experience!
@@ShowYourGenius The features that the controller has are heavily limited due to the software, like for example the dials could only be used for sending custom CCs on VSTs (cant be mapped for other controls) and for some reason the Pitch and Modulation don't work at all even though it's registering the touches. It just shows up as "?" on the hint panel when used. I was really looking forward to using those and I was pretty bummed to find out it doesn't even work on my favorite DAW. I just read this from Novation's website and it's pretty shocking to learn that they apparently don't "support" FL Studio for Mk3. Even though it shows up as "Launchkey Mini Mk3" on the MIDI settings. Weird. support.novationmusic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/206861879-Novation-Launchkey-Launchkey-Mini-MK1-MK2-and-MK3-support-in-FL-Studio
Bro please tell me novation mini mk3 can control fl transport control? . Bcz i saw ur video for launckkey mini is best controller for fl and buy one but I can't control my fl transport control and performance mode .
So if theres shortcuts and hot keys, it absolutely speeds up work flow I know you’re trying sound super brand friendly and like you really throughly tried it out but it’s super fake.. just speak normally man, because the video was good, just the delivery was insincere

Yeah most of us have Producer Edition or higher already

Why didn’t you buy a keyboard and plug in? Just curious

Don’t do it not velocity sensitive at all not worth it but if you want one I’ll sell you mine
@@yflugobeatz1590 how much you selling for and where you from?
@@re_i_gn I’m from Texas you can have mine for 100 plus shipping ups standard
This seems pretty cool but not having velocity is a pretty big con for me, I never sequence anything without using velocity in some way
Hold the and turn the volume knob to change velocity
The key ARE velocity sensitive.

Hi bro... Its work in studio one 6 DAW....?
Can you make house music tutorial
That'd be interesting, but I'm not a house producer so I wouldn't be able to do that genre justice!
