Bolsover is a town like many in this area struggling to adapt after the closure of the mines. It is a town with many great people who are hard working and decent. It is going to be very tough over the next few years as bills go up and wages remain low. This film doesn't give a complete picture of Bolsover. Bolsover is pretty town surrounded by some of the finest countryside Derbyshire has to offer. Ironically the closing of the pits and coalite plant has actually improved the look of the place. It has a tremendous castle that is well worth visiting. However I fully understand and support the sentiments of this film.

Bolsover Isn't a poor place it's quite a nice area slot of money has been spent and jobs are on the rise I'd say the income has definitely gone up
