This is what I'm talking about. Stay a few days in a glorious spot. I never understood why people don't stop and enjoy the location they fought so hard to get to.
It all depends on the type of trip you want. I've stayed at one location for 5 days; I've also spent 5 days at 5 different spots enjoyed every moment on both trips so it's down to preference I would say. :)

I like the fact that you narrate your adventures and you have a dog. It's hard to keep my interest with people who just camp, no talk or explanation. My camping days are over, my wife loves hotels. I live vicariously through folks like you.
Great outdoor man !! I like sooo much those landscapes, simple life made of fire, slow pacing, a sweet dog (she looks like mine, lovely ), you and yourself. This is the real way that worth to live by. Thank you, a huge hug from Italy
I definitely agree with David and Tacoma Jon on the idea of honoring the spot you worked so hard to find. Nature, the outdoors and solitary time to think is worth a lot. Some of the channels I follow seem to be fleeing from something or trying to find the unknown ideal. Always driving! I enjoy your style of kicking back and letting nature have a tantrum while you snuggle down with Daisy and a warm whiskey 🥃 I love that all purpose knife and just bought some polenta try out your breakfast staple. Great video!
The wheel was one of man's greatest inventions. A folding wheel barrel or cart sure would come in handy for hauling firewood back to your van. Conserving energy during hard times and being efficient is key. The pioneers never had gas powered equipment but we still use much of their tools to this day.Happy travels.
Thanks for addressing the change due to high fuel prices. I always wondered why staying for a week or so in one spot isn't more popular, so much to explorer and enjoy. Always enjoy your videos and love seeing Daisy too. Looking forward to more videos as you spend more time in one area.
Im new to the channel. I have watched almost all your videos so far i have been slowly getting in to the outdoors more due to my line of work. I never took the time to look back. At how life can be so simple and bliss outdoors thank you for all that you do. I must say the words you use to describe it all opened my heart. I have now started to build my own truck camper and after my back injury and soon recovery. im proud and excited to start my new journey outdoors. Thank you keep up the great work.
Great video! One thing we can always be assured of, change is inevitable. If the lifestyle teaches you nothing else, it teaches you to be more resilient. Make do with the resources at hand. One of my biggest regrets in pursuing the outdoor lifestyle, is not spending more time in places, and then returning to those places at different seasons of the year. Keep on enjoying yourself and maybe we will bump into one another.
Looks like Daisy was enjoying the snow. I think they make small trailers for those bikes. It could double as a firewood hauler and Daisey's wagon so she can ride around with you.
@@LoveDogs___3 If she was uncomfortable she would be curled up in a ball trying to stay warm not laying out on her side. Looks like she was enjoying a good nap on the cool snow to me. Just like people some dogs like the cold.
I have my glass of bourbon, a cigar, and a Primal Outdoors video. I can’t the you enough. 15 to 20 minutes of pure relaxation that I forward to all week.
not so long ago, some of those who watched these videos recognized the people near whom he lived, there is a very serious conversation that this freak raped children and then began to move and live in a car
Cool you keep a pic of Wheeler in your truck. Lost my blue heeler Cosmo a few months back after 12 yrs. Already got a blue pup.....Kota. keep enjoying the road and your freedom! Timmy C Arizona
Thanks for sharing Jason, such a true reflection of the times right now for us all, really well captured. Daisy simply beautiful graceful old girl and really made the video complete, keep up the great work. Best wishes , JD
You see the vans that go way out in building then this simple look most of the money put into the performance of the van and in due time . But this makes it feel attainable. Got admit when he poured that coffee ☕️ ahhhhh 😌 I was in a zone ....
There's something very Primal, peaceful, calming, and masculine about chopping wood and drinking coffee and whiskey. Every man should do it.... especially nowadays.
How enjoyable it must be to sit back and relax in peace around a campfire with nobody around except for your dog for company while the rest of the world is turned on its ear with the problems and concerns, and there's Jason and Daisy over there drink'n whiskey and chill'n, great video man, keep enjoying life on your own terms. You definitely got it figured out.
not so long ago, some of those who watched these videos recognized the people near whom he lived, there is a very serious conversation that this freak raped children and then began to move and live in a car
hi. I'm interested in your story. I think often of just living out there like that and watching you is educational for me. Thanks. love your dog. Just had to put mine to heaven in Mar.10/22. I miss him dearly he was almost 15yrs. old. Cancer.
I’ve always loved the realness of your channel. Don’t feel like you have to keep driving to give us new scenery. We support whatever content you create. Do what’s best for you finically! Keep up the great work!
Good thing I got me a One Wheel GT ...pre-ordered back in Nov and due to ship just in time (1st week of April) to save on some gas...it will be much easier to lug around while overlanding than a heavy cumbersome e-bike....much more fun too...float on
We have a van for weekends and vacations. Last year I bought a specialized turbo levo EMTB, I will be combining the van camping with my EMTB. I dont see where in our case that hauling around my EBike will reduce our gas use but anytime our van is not running we used less gas. As for exploring with an EBike , it is fantastic!! The additional power availability lets any uphills become a non issue, the typical range I get with a full charge is around 45 to 55 miles depending on how much power I choose to assist with. As a cyclist with or without a battery motor….any MTB will work for exploring but the EMTB is a great motivation and I tend to roam further. Charging? For now either shore power or my Blueitti 50 inverter/ power. An EBIKE with no charge is a tank to peddle, you dont want that experience!! Great videos, always super well done!!
Howzit Jason bet you can't wait for warmer weather, probably had enough of the cold weather, have a drink for me, I know gas prices will hurt everyone in the overlanding van life community, stay safe and safe travels brah, hang loose see you lathas 👍🤙👊
Multi day camps sounds like a much better idea than burning a lot of fuel every single day. Puts the mind more at ease too, for most people. Nice pile of firewood you hauled there.
I asked you a question and you made a video, nice. You're making the best out of the situation, saving fuel and giving your content a little bit of change. Smart.
New here. I enjoyed watching your video and how you narrated it. It almost made me want to be in the snow……until I remembered that I dread the cold. Great job!
Looking forward to the new videos and Richie on Jail Break has used his e bike for years I think. Anyway he's a pretty big guy so its got to be a tuff bike. He rides all over the mountains and deserts. Great Channel alot like yours in some ways but he does tell about his bike and all else he uses . Think You'll enjoy it.
Base camping! Set up camp in one beautiful spot and just chill. My friends and I started doing this years ago on surf trips. Spent six days last June in one spot in the Sierras. Camping and fly fishing. Also have a trail hitch motorcycle ramp. I can bring along my 250 Dual Sport. Rear airbags installed on my truck to handle the extra weight. 250 modified with a big fuel tank. 3.2 gallons. 70+ MPG...
I've pretty much been thinking along the same lines recently. Still planning to travel and camp as much as possible this year, but it will probably be fewer trips where I spend more time camping rather than more trips that are faster paced. Looking forward to seeing more about the e-bike too as that is something I have been considering to facilitate exploring while I leave the van parked at base camp to save fuel.
not so long ago, some of those who watched these videos recognized the people near whom he lived, there is a very serious conversation that this freak raped children and then began to move and live in a car
I love that you're taking an e-bike with you out there -- I've been considering doing the exact same thing - seems like a great lightweight option for extending the range of exploring out of base camp.
Great videos. I really like the different camera angles and drone views. I bet that takes a lot of time and planning but really adds to the experience watching your videos. Thanks
Thanks, Jason. This was a primo episode. I very like the idea of spending multiple nights in one location. Sweet little e-bike you have there. It will certainly give you some excellent exploring opportunities. The ability to re-charge the e-bike via solar/Jackery is a definite plus. I’m thinking of getting a cordless electric chainsaw, and charging it up with a Jackery & solar. Daisy lounging in the snow was sweet to see. Loved the campfire.
not so long ago, some of those who watched these videos recognized the people near whom he lived, there is a very serious conversation that this freak raped children and then began to move and live in a car
Here in Nevada you can stay on public lands free , you are required to move every two weeks... But when the agents show up tell them you don't have fuel and to help you push your RV
Another great video. We're keeling things more local and staying put for a few days at a time too. Up here in Vancouver BC gas hit $2.10/L. At 3.78 L/gal and 1.26 CAD/USD, that's $10/gal.
This is what I'm talking about. Stay a few days in a glorious spot. I never understood why people don't stop and enjoy the location they fought so hard to get to.
That is a very astute question.
Some people don't have several days to camp.
It all depends on the type of trip you want. I've stayed at one location for 5 days; I've also spent 5 days at 5 different spots enjoyed every moment on both trips so it's down to preference I would say. :)

Liked the idea of the electric bike 🌲🚲 & saving gas during these troubled times 🪵🔥 Looking forward to your review of the Snapcycle E-bike ✨

When in van you have to think space. I'm thinking heavy duty tarp sled some how
I doubt she was enjoying laying in the snow and what choice did she have
