I have come across your page! So excited. As I am getting ready to retire in a few years. I was thinking of doing notary work. So I am going to watch your videos to see what i am getting myself into. Glad your are in Texas too! Thanks for all your information.
Hi Adi Thank you for this video. It was very helpful. It answered a lot of questions I have especially for us Cali notaries. This video came at the nick of time. Just yesterday I was asked if I can help someone with a poa and I told them that first they would need to draft it and I could notarize it. However, it’s to be used in El Salvador but I didn’t say anything about apostilling it because the person would have had to tell me that right?
I’m glad it was helpful! Yea we will get asked ALOT to do these requests but all we can do is to show them where they can go to get it done THEN come back to us to get it notarized. With the Apostille, good thing you didn’t say anything because it’s giving legal advice but you can say something like “make sure to ask your lawyer if you need to get it Apostille too” if they ask you more questions you can give them the Apostille description but not tell them directly “you need this in order to have it accepted in El Salvador”
Here in texas I just download it from Google show it to them to choose from and that's it. Anything else they want written on there? I always ask them to write it down Or type it up themselves.
Great video and that was very valuable information! Thanks for sharing! 😊
I’m glad it was helpful
