NEWS ABOUT THE PROJECT 📰
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming live action film based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series and the sequel to the 2022 film, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It will be the third entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series created by Paramount Pictures, and licensed by Sega. The announcement for the movie was likely a pun on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, as it was announced along with a Knuckles spinoff series, titled Sonic the Series. The Paramount+ Facebook page even responded with a comment about this reference

For how bad the gameplay was, the story was good. If there were a movie based on Sonic 06, Mephilis would carry that story. It’d be great, as long as we’d avoid any humans kissing Sonic. Amy, makes sense. Otherwise, it’s really weird.

Well it’s confirmed that Jim carrry is coming back as robotnik for the 3rd Sonic film so I predict at the end of the third film, robotnik will be killed off or sent to a highly secured prison but the after credit scene shows that he had a contingency plan incase shadow didn’t work out. And it reveals metal sonic similar to the opening of the OVA animated Sonic film from 1999 where a pre recorded message from Robotnik plays telling metal sonic when he’s ready to destroy Sonic thus setting up the 4th Sonic film.

What I’m most concerned about for this movie is: will Dr Eggman even be present? It doesn’t seem likely Jim Carey will play Eggman again for any live action Sonic shows or movies. I’d say Mike Polluck would fit: he has the voice and the right body type, Eggman’s usually a tall, slender, yet “egg-like” build. But, I’m not sure if Sega would be willing to go with such a change. They certainly have their work cut out for them regarding Eggman in the movies going forward. Sonic *needs* his nemesis to fight, but there’s few ways to get around this without audiences feeling jared by the sudden change.

I think those scenes dont really do the concepts justice, all of them are good, but i think either Silver or Metal are most likely. Silver could warp in due to Mephiles rather than having rings, and metal shouldn’t be seen much, either his eyes, or maybe his central chest area starts to glow.
Silver should also say “The Iblis Trigger,,, Ive finally found him” or something along those lines.
I think it should be Metal in 4, and then Silver in 5, and i feel eventually it’ll have to have the Unleashed plot, as the intro scene would be so cool if remade well

No, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is not the last Sonic movie, as there are plans for more in the Sonic Cinematic Universe.
Thing is, Amy doesn't have anything special enough for her to be a post credits scene character, so I don't think she'd be a post credit scene. I do however think she will be in the third one and it'll be revealed in the trailers, similar to Knuckles in the second one.

Honestly I don’t know if I even want a 4th movie. 3 just seems like just the right amount to me. But if we do get one I think Amy will probably be the one they reveal.
Personally, what I think will happen in the movie is Sonic and Shadow fight and stuff, yada yada, but towards the end Robotnik comes back with Metal, who then gets out of hand and Sonic and Shadow have to team up like they did in SA2.
Eggman probably won’t return considering that his actor whose name I can’t recall for some reason said that sonic two will probably be his last movie

Well. Shadow was the cliffhanger of Sonic the Hedgehog Movie 2. And we all know that Rouge wasn't far behind in Sonic X of introduction. I already had a feeling that Knuckles was gonna be in the second movie and that he would be fighting Sonic alongside Robotnik/Eggman before I ever saw the trailer because isn't that what happened in, what? Sonic X? But if the Movies continue going as well as they're going so far, I can hope that they'll make this into one big franchise and have the whole Team Sonic, consisting of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. And then I would love to see Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Big, and Cream and Cheese. And if we're lucky enough. Tikal as well.

I had an idea for a post credit scene that would most likely never happen, but it's a cool one. Basically, it shows sonic running up a hill because he had seen something lane there, now checking what that was, we see a ring portal by sonic, and Mario would come out of it, and then he would tell sonic about this fighting competition that has a bunch of gaming icons, and sonic looks the ground, picks us his invitation and then cut's too a logo for a smash bros flim.
