2 second inhale - 1:3:2 ratio breathing (Guided 10 min breathing exercise)

- This is part of the guided 10 minute breathing exercise series based on the 1:3:2 breathing ratio (inhale: breath hold: exhale).
This guided session uses a 2 second inhale.
Thus the cycle is made up of a 2 second inhale, 6 second breath hold and 4 second exhale.
You repeat this breathing pattern for 10 minutes.
The aim of this drill is to increase your cardiovascular health and fitness by increasing your tolerance to C02 (Carbon Dioxide).
During this drill you should feel air hunger, as this is essential to improve your tolerance to C02, but if it becomes to much be sure to take a break and re-join the cycle when ready.
Once you are comfortable performing this cycle for the 10 minute duration increase the cycle by increasing the inhale by 1 second (the hold and exhale will increase in relation to that).
