People don't know that's part of how we were supposed to be. We were warned about our style of government being involved in foreign affairs. It's all in George Washingtons farewell address.
Stay out of foreign politics.
Stay out of foreign wars.
Do not make permanent alliances.
Do not do favors for foreign nations.
Because those can cause exactly what has happened. Corruption, and infiltration by foreign entities in our government. Working against the people. All promoting an exchange of something for favors,
or assistance. Sure, we can help. We just need some oil(Middle East). Some minerals(Ukraine) or control of my religions land(Isreal). Which of course in turn gets us involved in their politics. We were warned against it, except in extreme situations (world wars). Hence our decline since constantly being involved in military actions since Korea, and the creation of the UN and WEF. You can't run a country based on emotions. Especially this one. Of course helping people is good. It's risking overall world peace though. Because everyone should know what's going to happen, should our gov fall apart. We have to view the world, just as we are supposed to ourselves. An individual groups benefit does not outweigh high risk to the whole.
This obviously doesn't mean we are not friendly with otherS or have treaties. Just a focus on trade of goods, and not be a team with others permanently.
