I followed your guide and been playing like this for 2 months or so. I prefer to use the action bars of the consoleport addon. I recommend installing something like Real UI to make it cleaner. It´s a wonderful experience one you dedicate some time to set up everything. Thanks for the video.

So with console port you put the folder right into the wow folder and didn’t use curse forge where curseforge you can update your addons.. so how do you go about updating console port? As it’s saying it needs to be updated. Do you have to delete the folder. Download the new update and import it back into the wow folder? Wouldn’t using curseforge save a lot of that headache?
I have 2 questions about playing wow in a handheld: 1. Have you tried playing with the controller detached and in "fps mode" (as a mouse) and with a Bluetooth keyboard? 2. I'm waiting for the rog ally X, but now I'm thinking about the Legion Go as the price is dropping dramatically. What do you think? Should I wait for the X or buy the Go now that is cheaper?

Hey i've been trying to set this up on my Legion Go. It all works but I have two problems. First is that the right stick is draging the mouse cursor across the screen as well as moving the view - is there anyway to disable this easily? Also, the left stick when I move it down, it turns the character rather than just stepping back - so the character kind of does a dead stop and faces the screen rather than just stepping backward as it should with the keys. I had everything workin fine with the controls and I was just mapping out some key binds when then all of a sudden I can’t turn the screen with the right stick any more and now my character doesn’t move fluid with the left stick anymore either, it’s jagged like if I was using a keyboard to move pls help! I reset everything back to default and it still doesn’t work. Also the buttons on the back before would do anything and I couldn’t use them to keybind anything and now all of a sudden they do work and they do different things and I can’t figure out why!
@@BreakTimeGaming does the console have at least one usb-c port? Because if it has, a dock can be connected and to that dock you can plug a keyboard and a mouse…no need for bluetooth. At least the steam deck works like that…don’t know about this one. Thank you for your reply!
So you have to change additional commands on the legion go. Does this mess with your wow account when you go and play it on pc. As in do you have to change any commands back when playing on a pc. Or does the commands only affect the legion go?
I’ve noticed that some times it messed with how I have my health bars laid out and some times it don’t. Not really sure how to make it consistently not change it
Really good I can hit 60FPS with medium settings without any issue. Probably could turn the setting up higher but I try not to let it run so hard that the fans have to kick up to high since wow is typically longer play sessions
If you install ConsolePort, you don't need to do the step where you typed in the console command to activate gamepad.

Having issues where my game randomly gives me black screens while playing. Gonna try this direct x 11 fix in the games settings. I hope this helps!

I just picked the xbox controller, no other compromise was made, I play it the same way as i play on the ocmputer

I found when playing in handheld if you touch the item on screen and hold it for a couple of seconds it will act as a right click

I think it is possible haven’t tried it but I think connecting a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse would work.
