    Clark crushed the hype. She's the real deal! It was fun to watch.

    It's as simple as this....Caitlin isn't black....Caitlin isn't gay..... that's why Caitlin has no place….in the WNBA!!! I hope she let’s the European teams know she would be willing to move rather than chance a severe injury that could end her career. I hope viewership drops 90%!!!

      If she was black but broke records, out skilled many, drew in millions of fans... she would still get slammed and they would find a reason to call her success unfair... if she's on the light side its colorism, if she's beautiful its pretty privilege... and a black phenom might get it worse because they can't blame race (and might have to take personal responsibility) and would be more jealous. There are other white women in this league and 70% of the league is straight. CC is showing them what women can do and many girls want to emulate her so there will be more behind her and some of them will be black.. and there will be less excuses.

      @trentmckay1055 Why would you care about viewership and be so racist yourself. Look in the mirror, that is the problem

      @@billiestevens318 The issue isn't with @trentmckay1055. The issue is that when someone shares a truth that I don't want to hear, they're labelled a racist.

      Having a different opinion isn't racist. If anything the league was extremely racist towards her. I think they will get what they deserve for trying to kill the golden goose.

    Caitlin is the best rookie now and the past. She went above and beyond. That’s why she is a victim of racism from Reese and Carrington fans

    Why hasn't Angel Reese received all the criticism and hate that Clark has? Pathetic WNBA!

    • @snave59
      @snave59 9 днів тому

      Because Reese is black in a league with 65% black players.

    Caitlin Clark's outstanding performance has put the WNBA on the sports map and attracted more viewers. It's clear that she is under scrutiny because of her skin color, but true sports fans are happy to see the game being played the way it was designed and not view it because of color. I watch the WNBA because of Caitlin Clark. Amazingly, she brings "Basketball" to the WNBA.

    WNBA need to understand that most of the new fans are CC fans and if they want to keep those fans (and their money) then they need to protect CC to at least the same level as they protect the other players. Otherwise the WNBA will be seen as a Mickey Mouse League and those fans will move onto a sport they believe is genuinely fair.....

    Of course she exceeded the hype: broke a bunch of records, had a top 2-3 rookie season ever, rookie of the yr, 1st team all-WNBA, 4th in MVP voting in spite of getting the most defensive attention on her every game and having the most pressure & scrutiny on her in the league. Anyone who still thinks she didn't at least live up to the hype (let alone exceed it) is a hater, period.

    What Clark could do to improve:
    1) Mid-range and floater (which I guess she's been working on )
    2) Develop/improve her left hand
    3) Defense
    Among other things, the Indiana Fever need
    1) A backup point guard so Clark doesn't have to play 40 minutes
    2) An enforcer
    3) A deeper bench
    4) A head coach who is on the same page as Clark about running the offense.

    The biggest women's team sports star we've ever seen. Also I think Tamika's honesty (especially as the relative of a WNBA player) here that a lot of players had doubts about how good she would be. We've been gaslit into thinking that this wasn't the case.

    Breaking 62 (regular & rookie combined) records in her 1st year, leading her team to a winning record and a playoff berth since 2016, all the while playing against incompetent and corrupt refs, incompetent coach, incompetent teammates (asides from Boston) who have issuers with catching Caitlin's passes ontop of scoring open layups (layups are the bane in the wnba, if they can complete 70% of their layups they're considered super stars, that's how low the bar is), the most double teamed player in the wnba the next person needs 47 double teamed just to match caitlin, being a victim of wnba %17 flagrant fouls (that's ONE Person; highest in taking all that punishment) and 90% was committed by one team, Chicago Sky, other players attempting to injury Caitlin, the mental abuse and stress the other teams off the court and media put on her and her showing how strong her mental fortitude is. So what do you think did she "exceed" the "hype" ?

    Not perfect, potentially room for massive growth, but Caitlin Clark is amazingly, insanely, incredibly, AWESOME! The W has never seen anything like her, and they can't handle it!

    • @Dreamdancer11
      @Dreamdancer11 9 днів тому

      She can always get better but what she needs is to get the calls every other WNBA player gets lets alone the big names....a player with her type of game should get 6 to 8 points from the line easily...and she gets punched and barely gets there.....i agree with the midrange game...a good floater game ll make her even more unguardable but if we wanna be honest its the basic respect from the refs that ll set the tone for every thing else....cause frankly its a mathematical impossibility for the most blitzed player to barely get fouled and go to the line...
