How would YOU rate the difficulty of Die Rise, compared to other maps in Zombies history? 🤔 Edit: Okay so the jumping jack crawlers were for not missing a shot instead of from taking no damage!
Absolutely fire map, anyone who dislikes it only dislike it because it takes a little skill, the tighter maps were always better than the ones with big open areas, this map wasn't a punishment it was a blessing
I disagree. I think there are some inherent design flaws. Obviously I haven’t played it in forever because when black ops two came out. I was a kid. I think I was 15 or something. And I did not like it. I didn’t like the random elevators perks thought most of my deaths were cheap But Maybe if I pick it up again and play it I might have a different opinion because that seems to be the case with a lot of games that I didn’t like now that I’m older. I enjoy them more
Facts nothing but skill issue, if you can't play on tighter maps that require a bit of finesse you ain't good at zombies, it's not hard to find big open spaces and circle but there isn't much space for that on this map, skill is 100% the reason ppl hate the map
This is my favorite map ever. I love the risk in design and no other map plays like it. Some people are too quick to not give it a chance because of that. Good job covering it :)
Im a huge fan of this map as well, loved the spring traps! They were amazing for flinging yourself into tight spots or to fling you across the gaps in the map.
@@bigbrisk8423I wouldn’t say they are bad it’s just a very polarizing map a lot of people don’t enjoy it because it’s an acquired taste that has a lot of different components that other zombies maps don’t usually have and it’s understandable why people don’t enjoy it as much

I always liked die rise, something about the way the map looks and how fun it was to use sliquifier will always be one of my favorite childhood memories
Remember the big where you could sit in that corner by the stairs? I can’t remember where at but you could legit just sit there and slick the zombies and they couldn’t lay a finger on you lol good times man

How old are you? 12? Literally the main criticism for this map is the boring visuals und endless waiting for elevators. Same with Tranzit. It's hilarious how defensive you get over it. Immaturity at its best.
"I'm immature and can't handle other people disliking something I like. Therefore, I resort to petty insults on social media. It finally gives my life some meaning."
Die rise was fuckin DOPE. Yes the map was usually trying to kill you somehow, but you had tools around to deal with things. For example falling off a building and losing all your shit SUCKS, until you learn you can come back, get a semi auto sniper off the wall and abuse a permanent perk that gives extra points for sniper kills. Making it easy to build yourself up again.
The only real downside of Die Rise was the wonder weapon (which would have been amazing on any other map). They gave us a wonder weapon that made the ground slick on the one map where fall damage was a threat
It does infinite damage, I think it's super fair to have the sliquifier on this map. That's what makes it great, yeah it's awesome but you also have to be careful with it and think before you act.
@walk-monkey I wouldn't say it's infinite cause you can keep on multiplying the amount of damage you do with each shot, so it's not infinite, but basically is, cause you can exponentially increase it whenever.
Die rise was my first ever dlc map. Found it sick af with how you had to traverse the map n just the overall vibe of it. I still got love for it to this day
Die Rise was my favorite zombies map back in the bo2 days. I remember my friend an I getting to round 45 on split screen. Took us like 3-4 hours lol Good times
Screw die rise. As soon as i did the EE, i never played it again. Like tranzit BO2 has the most up and down map cycle. Tranzit=eurgh. Die rise=eurgh. Buried=meh. Mob=goddamn beautiful. Origins=chef's kiss
Bro!? Buried = meh????? Your on crack. Buried might actually be the best zombies map of all time. The banking system paired with the time bomb was so badass. The wonder weapon and the vultures aid perk were awesome too!
Evan your content gets me through hard times. Almost did something stupid but this video helped me relax. I love your content and thank you for everything even if you might now know it.
22:24 I always thought this could be Sun Wukong reference. Or at least just Buddha in general since reincarnation and immortality is a massive point within Chinese mythology.
This map was a game changer for serious crews. You had to have a hardened lineup to accomplish anything on it. Had some of the best games with my crew at the time on this map.
Avid Die Rise enjoyer here: (has been my top spot since it came out, hasn't changed once) I loved it, loved the risk reward, and also the special round bonus perk: (bouncer/jumping jacks/leprosy children, we all know they're Nova 6 crawlers repurposed) it's more about NOT MISSING ANY SHOTS. I've done it with the DSR-50, Mustang and Sally as well as boxing them out with the galvs. You also get a crisp 2K points. But... yeah hiding in a corner is the easiest way to assure that free reward. neat video, really enjoyed it. Also, I forgot I used to watch spiderbite all of the time. Wonder what they're up to
This is the only zombies map where I simply gave up before memorizing the layout in solo. I played the map twice in co-op, but that was only because I thought I was playing a different map and my teammates bait and switched me into playing this one instead. It was tolerable in co-op as only a fraction of the zombies come after you when compared to solo.
Jokes on Treyarch, the sliquifier was one of the most broken wonder weapons we ever seen. You could stand next to a corner on a ledge, shoot one shot of the sliquifier, and watch all the zombies fall of the ledge for several rounds.
There was so much room to run on this map, I remember our group took awhile to get gud at this map but eventually we were pushing it pretty hard and having fun.
I love die rise! It's one of those maps where I can get so set that eventually I just jump off the map because I'm bored lol. If you know all the strats for camping on the roof and then know when to rotate to avoid being overwhelmed, it's super easy.
1 thing i miss about old school Zombies, was getting the ballistic knife, and the Bowie knife, lying down on the floor, and swapping weapons over and over so you look like youre swimming 😅
I did the EE for Die Rise when it was new. I never want to use the Sliquifier of the Tramplesteam again. If they want to remaster a map from Blops2 they should do BURIED or Mob od the Dead. Those two were the best. Or modernize MOON or that map from Blops3 witht the mashup of all classic maps and they can remove the wall running and change that. NO TO DIE RISE! LOL Great vid
Die Rise would do wonders if brought up to modern day with the current movement Plus the sliquifier Would be really fun to mess around with the new movement (could see some crazy stuff)
The most difficult part for me will always be having three friends. I don't really care about how difficult the map is as long as it can be done with 1-2 people
Loved and hated this map but you knew it was a different one. Challenging but fun (how often we played against each other with the wonderweapon and tried to kill us) Also made every Dr. Maxis and Richtofen EE to open 2 times the box on Buried.
I think Moon is the most decisive map. Die Rise and Moon are my two favorite maps of all time. But if someone called Die Rise a bad map I wouldnt argue, however I would if they called Moon a bad map
Disliked die-rise. It was the first one where everyone had to be familiar with the Easter egg to even think about attempting it. If one person didnt know about it, don't even think about trying. Moon was that way to go all the way through, but while I have some memories of soloing half-way through moon Easter egg, I only remember hating that I could barely even Start on Die Rise.
I love die rise. No i am not joking. It was my first map to get to round 100 and this automatically reserved a spot on my heart for it. Had a lot of funny moments on this map and the Stuhlinger easter egg where zombies start to talk is one of my alltime favorites and still gives me goosebumps today :D
This map with friends on a weekend night back then was prime 😂 Almost every round someone missed a jump, got smashed by an elevator or died mysteriously bcs there was some purple liquid on the floor which was a little bit slippery 🫣😂
I decided to punish this map & i used a trampolstine to get inside the wall with a endless one shot sliquifier, i remember taking playing with friends & i would go to sleep they would keep playing & when id wake up i would start playing & they would go to sleep just to get to high rounds on, i love this map & everything about it.
and now they just remake multiplayer maps as zombies maps to fill their quota of 4 DLC maps (first DLC will probably be unique map to bait people into buying vault edition just to release remakes for the final 3)
die rise was my favorite bo2 map undisputed until origins came out. the verticality the strategies the elevators everything was actually awful but my 13 year old self constantly tried to master the map and i wouldn’t trade that for anything

I’m terrible at zombies. I’m only good at simple maps like Kino and Der Riese. But I found Die Rise really nice on solo. I think I hit around round 40 which is good for me. 2 great training spots too. The large upside down room and the room with the hole in the ground.
