This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

Great video. Just out of curiosity - why do you still have a dedica when you also have a la marzocco, a linea mini from the look of it? Any reason for keeping both?
I want my first coffee machine. Until now i just drinked instant coffee with milk and honey but i heard coffee from those is not that bitter and taste way way better . And ao this one was just little more expensive how other coffee maker from those non automatic but this one looksd best had best review and coffee looks so creamy + great brand delonghi. Thats why i want buy it but idk if try make myself ground coffee but need buy mixer for it or rather buy pre ground coffee . But for sure on 95% i am sure i want this one how i see many people love it and there are many videos of how they like it
I have the same delonghi machine. Your video is cool but I think you can do even better. Replace the pressurised portafilter with a bottomless portafilter, perhaps use a pack screen too. I do a couple of empty shots with just water to get the machine warmed up, this is important as I find the group not be warm enough. In my experience the bottomless portafilter together with a pack screen have made a huge difference in the coffee. Happy brewing
Considering that he puts another 170g of milk on top of the 30g of coffee, in fact he is not drinking coffee but milk every day. This video should be titled "Everyday milk" instead of "Everyday coffee"
@@TaxemicFanatic It is a simple point. If he wants to show his skill making a Capuccino, why not title the video "Everyday Capuccino" instead of "Everyday Coffee" ? Im not snob. Im just pointing...
You should know that he has modded the machine to make café-quality espresso, he's replaced the stock steam wand with one from the rancilio Silvia and modded the portafilter insert to allow conventional unpressurised baskets to fit
If you choose to grind your beans at a coffee shop select a bit thicker grind size from the original espresso option. It's a common characteristic of the most delonghi espresso machines. I personally prefer 4.3.

Hi, I have a question. Every one of my coffee is terribly sour. Every type of coffee is sour. I don't know where the mistake may be anymore. Can you please help me I'm already desperate I own a delonghi dedica ec685 m coffee machine and a delonghi grinder kg521 m.
This sounds like your grind is too coarse, which is leading to underextraction. Try grinding finer and/or increase the dose in your basket. I used to have this problem as well and both points fixed it
Put an empty container under the steam wand, then press single dose button. Move the lever to the Steam position (as you will have just done to steam the milk) Machine will now purge water through the thermoblock and out of the wand. This cools it down so that it is able to now just dispense water. When it stops, move lever back to normal and you are good to go
buy directly from the coffee roaster or a specialty cafe or from a online coffee store. for an easier brew using espresso machine, use medium dark to dark roasted coffee beans, preferably a blend specifically made for espresso.
Did you modify the safety valve? How did you get 30 grams in 37 seconds? I thought it's not possible with this machine, it will pump out more, because it requires a coarser grind, because it applies 15 bars
Just bought it . Have no idea if i need soft , middle or right setting on water , to with water tempersture change . Coffee wasnt bitter how for instant coffee but my main problem now i didn't bough grinder yet so i used pre ground coffee but that brand wasnt good or that much creamy.
