To all the folks asking about the Africa Twin, its not here becuase it is not in this segment. It has a 1100cc engine but produces 99hp in India spec which is far less than anything here. In terms of power, performance, features and price, the Honda is a closer rival to the Multistrada V2 and Tiger 900 than it is to any of these bikes.
60K unit sales in 2021 and 40 years of perfecting the machine never lies! GS is the absolute king. It will take a lot to dethrone your majesty. Waiting to see the 1300!
really appreciate the extreme hardwork that has been taken in making such an informational video...what we see is just the lovely cinematics but the effort taken in producing the same is really tough & challenging!!!!!kudos to the entire autocar team 👏👏
Now i see why people crave for GS and why it's the top selling high capacity ADV in the world. Btw, really Great work from ACI. 30 mins of pure content 👏
Really well done on the analysis of the attributes of these bikes. I own the 2022 R1250GSA as well as the 2022 Ducati Multistrada Pike Peak and they are spectacular in very different ways. Nothing I've owned over the last 40+ years of riding has such balance of character as the GSA. I love the Pikes Peak for what it is , a pure "upright" sports bike, but the GSA is the best all around on road and off road bike I've ever owned. And I've owned over two dozen bikes in the past 40 years. Great analysis and the right conclusion in my view. Nicely done.
Week after week Autocar India sets the benchmark for quality automotive journalism! This shoot-out has to be an all time favourite till now. ♥️💫 I am sure the ACI team must've been thrilled to have a face-off with these behemoths!
When the narrator mentioned every bike has electronically adjustable suspension it really hit me how far motorcycling has come since I started riding on my Z50 Monkey in 1974. This is my first viewing of this channel. Excellent quality production, content, and evaluation. Well done! A note about shaft vs chain concerning the BMW. A recent service bulletin requires BMW owners to drop down the final drive and lubricate the splines on the shaft. I know of no other shaft drive motorcycle that requires this. The issue stems from the rubber boots letting water into the final drive.
Hats off to all you guys for going extreme and bring a video this beatiful with loads of hard work, it really pays off, this is an incredible video comparison of all big gun adv bikes in market now. Thanks again to whole Team, really enjoyed!
Thank you so much for the great video. I tend to avoid Indian videos because I can't really understand when there is a thick accent but honestly, this is not only clear, its also informative and done in a very entertaining way. I truly enjoyed the whole video and was craving for more. A 27min review that doesn't feel draggy. Great job guys.
Aah.. Thank you Autocar IN and Rishaad for making such a tasteful video. I've been waiting for a long long time for this. Hope you will make a similar video on smaller segment of adventure tourers such as the 600cc and the 900cc + ones
Great video! I really appreciate the effort that is put into the video. Talking about Triumph, I think it is a fantastic bike but always remains under the shadow of that BMW. No question that BMW is the best. But, if I were to spend that much money on a motorcycle, I would go and buy the Tiger. I mean it has its own share of problem just like all of us. It isn't perfect like all of us. Maybe that's what attracts me towards it.
The concept is fantastic but the execution could have been better. The journey itself is so beautiful from Delhi to Mumbai that the information could have been shared with great scenic views and experiences. But majority of the video felt like a spec sheet voiceover with basic camera footage and bikes standing still. Anyways, Kudos Team Autocar, thoroughly enjoyed this video!
Great job Autocar team, It’s only when you spend such long hours can one really understand the truer characters of these INSTRUMENTS of commute, - 5 days of travelling -the many man hours to plan and -god know how many people involved in this project, all summarised in a 27min short video, You all should think of a top gear styled 1 hour long episode format with such great ideas! Keep it coming!
i see a lot of videos where you guys go North to South, how about next time explore West to North-east. Would really want to see that, could be a good exposure for N-E states.
Outstanding reviews guys. U guys really did a fantastic job and gave us great insight into these Machines. My dream Bike is also 1250 GS. Will get it soon.
Such a nicely put together video , didnt feel like a 27 min video except for those stupid HDFC ads with 30 min car loan if only they knew the waiting period.
Superb review, I have been watching many separate reviews of the v4s, gs, this one has to be one of the most comprehensive I have seen - at par with neevsy from mcn or bike world, well done
Great reviews and information on what the bikes do on the road vs. the Spec sheets. I have seen the Pan American and the BMW go head to head here in the US and of course the Pan American was favored but the explanation that all of you gave for the BMW was priceless. Will wait for another comparison that will include the Africa-Twin and like powered bikes
Rishaad & Rishabh you two have been doing fantastic job and keeping Autocar India as one of the few platforms who gives unbiased reviews, you guys have been helpful in Our selection of Bikes as well! Big kudos to entire team for Putting up such detailed and crisp video along with the product placements in between!
Had a 2019 Multistrada Pikes Peak and loved it, looking to get another bike after a couple years away and came across your channel. Very well-done presentation and channel! Definitely leaning towards the GS. One thing I don't see many channels talk about is dealer network and serviceability which is huge in this segment. Not only if you are planning a multi-state (in in US) or multi country, it could be a big deal just ordering parts online. Highly recommend including a blurb about this in your future reviews, but top notch all the way!

It is comparable more to tiger 900 bmw 850 gs and v2 multi
im watching from California, im completely impressed by ya'll. im impressed by the production & detail, I ride a GS myself.
I will be coming back to this video many a times in future. Kudos to the whole team for producing this masterpiece.
One of the best, if not the best, comparing reviews I've seen about these motorcycles. Amazing job! Congratulations from Brazil.
1250GS is my ultimate dream. I have started that dream with baby steps, with my G310GS.
What a video it was❤️
Pure delight to watch.
GS the undisputed King🔥
Thanks Man!

What a fantastic review. All bases covered. All questions answered. You knocked it out of the park. Well done and thank you. G.
Rishaad bro, you are the man among men when it comes to reviewing two-wheelers, awesome job as always. ✌✌

Amazing work guys. Can't imagine the amount of time and effort that went into making this. Mad respect!
Despite all the 4 adv’s out there, I can’t get off my eyes over the beautiful ducati. When it comes to beauty or road presence, ducati anyday!
Thank you! So much context and usable information here. Appreciate the hard work gone into making this.
Make similar videos on entry level and mid sized adv tourers. It would be great.
I already read the article but man was the video so good. The tiger deserves more love though
awesome comparison. you should make one every year just like MCN!
Hats off to all you guys for going extreme and bring a video this beatiful with loads of hard work, it really pays off, this is an incredible video comparison of all big gun adv bikes in market now. Thanks again to whole Team, really enjoyed!
MULTISTRADA V4 S AANNYYDDAAYY!!!!! AN ABSOLUTE BEAST 😍😍😍😍😍
I was indeed looking for a review on the cruise/super bikes. Thank you for the detailed video. And i know my choice now and its BMW

U guys never disappoint with your content....loved it....BTS was awesome.
The Pan America has Hill Hold and a USB-C port. Excellent writeup. Spot on!
Pls make this for the sub 6 to 7 lakh ADVs.
Include the Hero xpulse just for context.
Thats really needed. For the ones who r buying their first adv's that budget is a bit user friendly. Autocar can help us make a better choice💯💯✌

A real gem production. Please post videos like this about different segments of bikes.
Waiting for a video like this for a long time from ur side...keep up the good work
1:45 matched perfectly with the thar behind. Different vehicles but same purpose.

Great group review gents!
Bravo.
Which was the bgm for the beautiful rajasthan part...loved it❤
Only problem with the GS is that they are as common as muck.
This is a very wholesome video with thorough reviews. Absolutely loved it ❤
Missing Africa Twin
Outstanding reviews guys. U guys really did a fantastic job and gave us great insight into these Machines. My dream Bike is also 1250 GS. Will get it soon.
Such a nicely put together video , didnt feel like a 27 min video except for those stupid HDFC ads with 30 min car loan if only they knew the waiting period.
Africa twin and Desert X ????
Hey Autocar, what do we have to do to get the job as a driver/bike car tester here ? 😅
Superb review, I have been watching many separate reviews of the v4s, gs, this one has to be one of the most comprehensive I have seen - at par with neevsy from mcn or bike world, well done
Aways a delight to watch videos in 4K
Pan America ‘22 which is the one you have does have a quick shifter as an option.
Just visited Harley showroom they are offering pan am at 16.7 on road Pune for the standard model . Puts it on top then?
Amazing video. Hats off ❤ 🎉
bmw1250gs wow 👌
The effort you guys and your team has put into making this video 💯👌
We need more such videos. Cheers and Thanks to the team.

Africa Twin is the legend. That's a real deal in adventure touring segment.
Before i started the video i knew the GS would win best bike overall
honda africa twin must also be added , it's a good competitor
Rishaad & Rishabh you two have been doing fantastic job and keeping Autocar India as one of the few platforms who gives unbiased reviews, you guys have been helpful in Our selection of Bikes as well! Big kudos to entire team for Putting up such detailed and crisp video along with the product placements in between!
It's Really a shame that KTM does not bring their big block Advs into India...🥴🥴🥴🥴
That because they won't be able to provide the quality of Service their big adv bikes demands
This was long awaited video ❤️🔥💯
Great video 🎉
But personally it’s the Africa twin ❤
One thing I noticed in Multi is that while braking hard it doesn't dive in too much like the other 3...Is that something a feature in Multi ?
Thank you. I really enjoyed this piece.
What can i ask for more than this 🏍️👀🖤
Thank you very much guys 💟☮️
