I named my RIO Pablo, and he has balls of pure steel. It's also fun to have a fake person to argue with when the RWR doesn't warn you properly.

if this was something you could do in sim i'd do this all day just to shit talk each other
A good compromise is to spawn into sim with a buddy then you spectate him. Ive never done it, but I think it can be done.
Scary indeed! Very poor visibility, and it's worse considering the RIO can't help the pilot so much when it comes to Mark II eyeball detection!
