So nice 😊😊😊
This is beautiful. Thank you.
it is so funy
UNBELIEVABLE !
Very nice, I am getting into my time-lapse starting with clouds but this is so much more interesting than seeing just clouds moving.
Beautiful scenery.... I am getting my gear ready for the next migration.
Great topic, shoot, composition - watched it 3 times already, thanks for sharing!
I go back to Africa every year to see this migration. It is incredible to see it in person. Warm regards from Germany

Nice video
Wow - amazing!!
Fascinating capture
Great work!! +Will
Amazing about wild world.l like it.
It's sad to see how small these herds have become. I've seen film in the past, and read descriptions, of migrating herds miles wide. A movement of animals so expensive it could probably be seen in space. Or at least, the dust clouds from the millions of hooves could be. Now we watch these films and the narrator tells us how spectacular it is and, well... maybe you gotta be there.
amazing !!!
It's very interesting !
Great!
very impressive :-)
thanks :)
I just came back from there too and I witnessed a crossing on 10/4. I am wondering how you managed to get this footage without a single safari vehicle sitting next to the water? It is an amazing sight, for sure. Nice work in the time lapse version. And congrats on your commendation.
Were you on Kenya side? Northern Tanzania is much quieter... just one or two vehicles at each crossing :)
Will Burrard-Lucas No, we were next to the Mara on the Tanzania side. When the animals emerged from the water, screaming and streaming water, we were so close to the edge we were being splattered with mud. There were about seven Safari vehicles scattered around. Oh the photos I got! Loved the zebras at the end of the line. What an experience!
If we travel the direction the river is flowing, the beasts seem to be crossing from the left bank to the right, as seen at the 0:18 mark. Their direction abruptly changes at 0:32 to right-to-left , if we continue to face the way the river is flowing. And back again to left-to-right at 0:48.
It begs the question; are these two different rivers, are they migrating one way in some clips and the other way in others, or am I just stupid and am not seeing this correctly?
This is awesome! Great work Will Burrard-Lucas How long does that crossing last? Did you have to set up multiple camera's or was there enough time to move around?
Thanks. It was actually many different crossings during the space of a week. We only had one camera shooting time-lapse at any time.
Will Burrard-Lucas What an amazing week. Are those hippo's or croc's at 0:10? Keep up the great work Will.
Travizeo, the travel video company They were hippos. There were crocs but they're much hard to spot!
Will Burrard-Lucas Im sure that's exactly what the wildebeest thought as well ;)
Were those crocodiles in the water at the 0:10 mark? If so, were they able to catch a meal?
Maravilloso
I think it would be great if use to time lapse slider Dolly for motion capture ! I see here use only tripod footage !
Super
There must be a lot of fat crocs where those wildebeest crossings take place.
How many of them were eaten by crocodiles ?
There is no wildebeest crossing..but only the SNAKE CROSSING..
Will - which camp did you stay at in the Serengeti?
Whys the clouds not moving
nice
Yes this is what intrigues me, an captivates my attention, every animal / reptile, insect has its own mechanism and defense system,it's something to relish on the animal world
Oh no! Mufasa, watch out.

Leave Simba alone!!!
Ashley! Men can't teach feminism. They can live it though with our help and leadership. Wow, I can't believe you think this is a job for men. It's for us women, the first teachers, to get this done. Hard work, too. Very difficult in a patriarchy.
