- Dmitry Polyanskiy, the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, compared the details of the investigation into the September 2022 destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipelines to “a scenario for a Hollywood blockbuster” during remarks to reporters today (20 Aug).
He said, “only a child or a very naive person can believe that three amateur divers are behind this blast. So, those who promote this fairy tale want to create a smokescreen around confessions of U.S. top officials in the sabotage of the Nord Stream, which are widely known."
Polyanskiy further accused Germany of withholding crucial information related to the attack, which, according to him, should be shared with the U.N. Security Council. "Germany has important information about this terrorist act, which it shares with journalists, but conceals from the Security Council," he said. "We hope that Berlin will heed this request and duly inform the Security Council about its findings in the nearest future."
The Ambassador also cast doubt on the integrity of Western investigations into the pipeline destruction, specifically questioning Germany's handling of the case. "The Western countries are trying to imply that they still believe in the integrity and professionalism of the German investigation. They were saying the same things about the Swedish investigation and Danish investigation, and we remember that their only conclusion was that the Nord Stream was, in fact, blown up," Polyanskiy stated. "So, we have serious doubts about it. The question is that Germany should share what it has so far with the Security Council. It's its obligation, and it's something that we expect to be done in the nearest future."
When asked about the response of Western members of the Security Council to a recent Ukrainian incursion, Polyanskiy described the Ukrainian operation as a failure. "It hasn't achieved any goals that were formulated," he said, noting that Ukraine is losing ground quickly. "Ukraine is losing the positions which were fortified and maintained since the Maidan coup in 2014. This is a very fatal scenario for Ukraine."
Polyanskiy accused Ukrainian forces of committing atrocities, including targeting civilians and volunteers, and alleged that Nazism is deeply rooted in Ukrainian society. He also criticized Western countries for their silence, suggesting that they fear compromising themselves by acknowledging the actions of the Ukrainian military. "There are even more volunteers coming to the front, and I have absolutely no reason to doubt that the followers of Nazis in Ukraine will have the same inglorious end as the followers of Hitler in Germany 80 years ago," Polyanskiy concluded.

It's clear on its face that Russia didn't do it. It was done on the German side, which couldn't be done without the Germans knowing and stopping it. A Russian submarine certainly wouldn't have been able to get into the area undetected, nowhere close, not even within 100 miles. And divers certainly didn't sneak out there either. It was also done by a "hacked" buoy which was equipped to deliver a sonar signal that triggered it. Which complicates any lies further, because it makes the whole thing even more complex to carry out than simply putting some explosives on a timer. And then there's the whole other fact that Russia had nothing to gain. They could have simply turned off the flow from their end, no need to destroy it. So it was clearly done to stop the flow to Europe, in order to make Europe less dependent on Russia. I don't think it was all the US though, they clearly had cooperation from the German government, because there's still the issue that Germany would have detected such an attempt. But Germany will never admit it, because it would set all of Europe out after them for the trillions of dollars in economic damage it caused, so Germany will never admit it. They don't have to though, most of Europe already knows it wasn't Russia, EU governments simply aren't saying anything or playing along, but the EU people certainly know, which doesn't stop the consequences, it only delays them and makes it worse. Eventually one day people will rise up over what they did, and it won't just be against Germany, but all governments that played along with it.

What baffles me is that Gazprom wasn’t the only investor in Nordstream 2, almost half of the capital was provided by Germa, French, Austrian companies. They don’t care at all about losing so much money?

Greta didn't want any part of the discussion about who blew up the pipelines. Same as entire US media. Every single major US media outlet went for a week or two speculating that most likely Russia blew up their own pipelines. After the Global South laughed that off, the US media simply quit bringing it up. I don't think that Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, or Nuland was ever asked in public about their role in the sabotage. I was smoking this thick cigar while practicing flying over the Baltic Sea. Then a bird flew by and made me mess up my cigar smoking. I dropped the cigar out of my mouth and it fell down. Thanks mate. It is giving hope while watching boastful US mercenaries in Kursk. The first American I worked with was a very smart guy, twice as old as me, from whom I learnt a lot. We traveled a lot in some remote part of Russia, and strangely, he taught me of some things I wouldn't even recognize as worth of attention (like manned lighthouses or glass floats:) Only the best memories. Yeah, Germany's story makes no sense at all. Actual experts who know their stuff already went over it years ago and all have concluded that there's really only a few countries who were actually capable of it. Ukraine was not one of them, best case scenario they did a little bit in the backround. The actual operation was carried out by a different party that actually had the right expertise and equipment.
As a Norwegian, I can say we probably didn't do it...
I mean its, not like we made untold billions on it, or have advanced deep sea experience or submarines and stuff.
It was also a total coincidence that we opened up a new pipeline to Poland the day after.
But I will agree with Russia here, it wasn't a few amateur divers for sure.

US submersible planted charges on pipelines during Baltic military exercise. Charges were detonated later by a Norwegian aircraft dropping sonar ping buoys in sea close to each charge. One charge on string 2 of Nord stream 2 did not detonate so Russia told Germany they would provide gas to them through the undamaged string if they asked. Washington who was selling expensive boat loads of US fracked gas to Germany told them not to accept Russian gas. After the pipelines were damaged Norway opened a pipeline they had already laid to route gas from Norwegian North Sea gas platforms to Poland. Why use 2 smaller diameter pipelines instead of 1 large diameter pipeline? Smaller diameter pipelines are much easier to lay from a ship.

There was also inconsistencies in ADS-B tracking over that period of time. There is no way from tracking to assure what the P8 was doing there in his tracking or anyone elses. No way to prove that anything was dropped. The thesis is that such a plane may have dropped a "sonar bouy" that would be used to delayed-detonate a previously (by diver) applied charge on a Nordstream pipeline.
Another such U.S P-8 was tracked day before the explosion taking about the same route beside the island of Bornholm.
All these appearances of P8's were officially designated U.S reconnaissance flights that took place routinely.

It's amazing how disinterested Germany is in finding and NAMING the true culprits of that terror attack on Germany. Germany would have any reason to invoke NATO Article 5, but since that would lead to an intra-NATO war with the US (and probably Norway) they simply try to ignore it and come up with hiliarious theories.
