se. The money being spent is literal pocket change compared to the US budget. Russia is the US's number 1 enemy. Putin won't stop until he is stopped. He is an evil dictator. He probes for weakness. He will steal every single piece of land he can until he is stopped. If no one stops him he will roll right across Europe. He wants to rebuild the USSR and be known as Putin the great he has stated this for decades. Putin sees anything other than force as weakness that he can use to position himself to stab you in the back when the time is right. Putin has broken every deal he has ever signed includung the ones he suggested himself. Putin cannot be trusted ever he has proven to be untrustworthy over and over. If Putin wins in Ukraine NATO will be in a direct war with Russia when Putin invades a NATO country withing 2 years tops of taking Ukraine. Which would cost NATO countries literally thousands of times what they are spending now. They have literally cut Russia's military in half for pocket change. Their number 1 enemy's military strength cut in half and not a single drop of NATO blood spilled and the US got all new weaponry out of the deal. NATO has gotten the deal of the century for sure. It would have been completely fool hardy not to take this deal. In fact they should be putting in ten times more money. Because they will have to deal with Russia be it a direct or proxy war. Putin won't stop he is an evil dictator/war criminal/mafia boss/ nutcase/serial killer. NATO should of went after Putin like 15 years ago. He has proven over and over again he is our enemy and should be dealt with. Yes why try to slow down or defeat our enemy when we can fix our bridges so the Russian military can move equipment around easily when theyChina and North Korea invade us.War is ccoming NATO is much stroner and should act now while they can still beat them. Russia first, then North Korea and Iran and lastly China. They are all planning for war with us and fully plan on attacking when they are strong enough. Trump could have used the money the US government was getting from taxing billionaires and giant corporations to fix infrastructure, education, healthcare,homelessness etc. but he chose to give them a tax break instead because he doesn't care about the US or it's citizens. He only cares about himself, money and those who are rich and powerful enough to help him gain more money and power. Also Trump is a Russian agent and has been for decades. Russian oligarchs lent him tens of millions at the direction of Putin. Also Russian FSB agents caught Trump on video with underage hookers while visiting his bestie Jeffery Epstien. They recorded Trump having sex with and getting underage girls to pee on him in the shower. So now he has to do whatever Putin says or he will be exposed as a child molestor. Not that anyone who actually payed any attention doubted that he was for a second. Trump's name and number were written in Epstein's phone book 13 times. Every number Trump had through the years Epstein had so they could plan their next visit to Epstein's island to preyon girls who were hardly in their teens. Tariffs were an idea our founding fathers implemented to protect american labor and small business. Sanctions are an act of war. I'm glad to hear Trump say something about this.

That’s not even apples and oranges, that’s bananas and onions. The cost of Tariffs get passed onto the consumers for one, but moreover there isn’t much in the way of exports from Russia that the U.S. imports directly for that to be a feasible alternative.

The two holdouts against Ukraine regarding admission into NATO has been Germany because they didn’t want to have to cut ties with Russia for their oil that powers their nation, and then Erdowan of Turkey specifically. Who’s to say that the Ttump administration didn’t use back channels to convince Erdogan to holdout when Ttump has been trying to stay in Pootin’s good graces in the hope of helping him cheat and manipulate his way back into power. There is also the fact that Ttump has properties in Turkey too, and would like to continue his business relationship with Erdogan to eventually build more properties in that country, as long as he manages to evade justice from U.S. courts and stay out of prison, but will likely only happen if he gets elected again, which he will not likely pull off anyway. So, maybe you *could* say it is corruption then, on behalf of Ttump, Pootin, and Erdogan. You just have to be a little more specific when you make such claims.

For example, you probably have plenty of products made of aluminum that do not say "Made in Russia," but the much of aluminum used here does come from there. And crude oil at the pump does not say Made in Russia either, but it comes from there. I've only seen one product my whole life that said made in Russia, so I kept the packaging. But that doesn't mean they don't export things here. Nevertheless, products on the shelf don't move if their price doubles overnight. Meanwhile, other countries have demand also.
Technically it makes sense. The sanctions policy against Russia has created tremendous economic instability in the world, where economic routes has shifted. It's an ecconomic attack against Russia, and it has started in 2014! The problem is- Russia has already diversified and re-routed its trade to other nations. Its market got filled with alternative and domestic products, where US and European products will simply have no place any more. I doubt Russia would want to deal with countries that intentionally been sending weapons to its enemy to kill its soldiers and civilians? All treaties and rules were overlooked and ignored just to help Ukraine fuel war. Banned weapons were used over and over! Sanctions and economic restrictions were all done with one goal - to cause maximum damage and possible overthrow of the government in Russia! All of that US and Europe were doing is strongly hostile moves. How can Russia trust anyone of them after all this?

I don't think Americans, Europeans and British understand their way of life is changing, and not for the better. The massive USA, EU, UK debts incurred can only resolved in three ways: bankruptcy, failure of treasury, and inflation. The first two means their countries could dissolve. So the population better hang on, because the next 10 years are going to be hyperinflation and shortage of goods. Coupled with unemployment.... Then another 10 years of flat lining while they try to recover.
The 70+ year olds are running out of money and health care. The 40+ year olds are never going to afford retirement. The 25+ will have job instability. The 16+ will have social and communication problems and few job prospects. It is the Alpha group who are currently under 15 that will put the pieces back together if the world is lucky.
