This video has my competitive juices flowing again after being away for a number of years. It's back to training for me with the hope of reappearing in the sport in 2025.
Thank you. You're a class act. Great video unlike some who want to play tough guy, drop f bombs every sentence while wearing a shirt 3 sizes too small.
Both have a lot of value. HF scoring is great and for the game is needed. People don’t have a point value associated to the parts of their person. We know areas that are more and less effective and that in itself has variables. An A zone shot in the upper thoracic area of the target is the same point value as one in the bottom left corner breaking the perf and for the game that works. An upper thoracic shot just barely above the top of the A Zone is less points than if it was half and inch lower breaking the top of the perf but in reality that is not a less effective placement on body. There is no perfect answer for this. I use HF on a USPSA style target that I change the zones on if I’m doing my own practice not using someone else’s standard.
It would be interesting to see with each method where the first shot hit and how fast. For both applications we are all seeking rapid, multiple acceptable hits. In competition and the real world one shot rarely gets the job done.
Hey Rob, kind of off topic question if I may. Your timer in the thumbnail is the PACT? I just bought the CE Pro Timer BT for 180 bucks. I haven't tried it yet. It feels really cheapo plastic for that kinda dough. I'm thinking of returning it and grabbing a PACT for less money. Is this a solid choice? Any thoughts would be most appreciated? Thanks...Sub'd
Its definitely possible to shoot just as accurate the second way as the first. Dont think slowing down equals accuracy. I thought we were past that old way of thinking?
No comp. No ports. No dot. No extended mags. No AIWB holster. No Apex trigger. Stock .40 caliber pistol. Take notes, people.

Thanks Bob! Great explanation. "That's the difference between winning Nationals and being 40th." Wow! Food for thought!
Yea, that really put things into perspective! I love when Bob drops content lol

It’s about being able to put the rounds where you want at speed.
@ 100% that is it at the most basic form.

Nice pinkie ring Bob
8.52 HF for cop, 10.68 HF for comp., so cop is at 79.775%. shoot fast.
More aggressive… More better, my opinion. Looking forward to your class at the end of March.
U guys still carry 40cal for duty?
Practice. There’s that word again.
Did your dog chew up your belt?
Its called..LOTS a Practice with PACT Timer on belt in 12 0'clock Position.... SMH

He’s shooting strong hand only, of course slowing down equals accuracy. Stupid comment.
Try it on video and let us know
Then I can say definitively you need to go faster until you reach that point where the C's begin to occur. Then your statement will be moot.
