Rode there last yr with a buddy we stopped at some of the same spots it's a beautiful ride I can't wait to go back this yr and take the wife great job on the video to man ride safe brother
That whole area, East TN, Western NC, North Georgia, is my favorite in the whole country. You can beat the combination of roads and scenery. The Dragon, Moonshiner 28 and Cherohala are must rides if you’re out that way. Nice video. We’ll done.
Thanks for a very good video and narration of your ride. I hope to ride in that area this year. What cameras & editing software do you use? Thanks in advance! Frank
I do hope you get to ride there. I'm going back when i have more than just a weekend. I couldn't keep my eyes on the road for all the beauty around me. GoPro Hero 7 black on my helmet and GoPro Hero 7 white for all other angles. I use HitFilm Express, the editing software is free. Epidemic sound for my music. Thank you for watching. Ride safe.
@@OzarkHillsAdventures Thanks for the helpful information! I sent your video to my two brothers, and they were equally impressed with it. We all hope to ride that area together later this year. Enjoy your rides and be safe.
Fun fact: the dam you went by is the Cheoah Dam, where the Cheoah river meets the Little Tennessee. It is the dam that Harrison Ford's character jumps off in the movie The Fugitive. The river you were next to on 129 is the Cheoah, and it looks liek you were there on a recreational release day - it's usually running at a trickle but several times a year they spill water from Santeetlah dam and whitewater enthusiasts run the river. Nice video, I have always wanted to ride around there on a motorcycle. Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for the great info. I did learn later about the same being the one in the movie The Fugitive. That I've watched about 5 times. I only got 2 days there, but I logged over 20 hours of riding time. A beautiful surprise around every corner. Thank for watching.
I am riding this loop June 2023. I would like to walk acrss the suspension bridge in your video. Where is that and what is its name? Thanks in advance.
Beautiful ride
I really enjoyed it. I will be back when I have more time. Thanks for watching.
Still need to do the Skyway. Missed it before due to a heavy fog. Nice point about 129. I avoid the Dragon on purpose, but enjoy the area roads.

It's an amazing ride. I love the long winding curves. Not like the Dragon. And you can definitely feel the temperature change.
Here in East Tennessee, we just call it,
“The Dragon!”
It was sure a blast. I will be back.
I just call it to road to Maryville....what I always called it.
I'll let the tourists and bartenders give it a cute name.
That'll be some cool whitewater rafting!!
Yes it sure would.
Absolutely beautiful , thank you for sharing this with us . Stay safe out there
Thank you. I am so glad I made the trip there.

Where did you get the map that you were referring to in the video? Thanks from K & M Adventures!
At the Deals Gap Resort. They were free.
