Please mention healthcare. Especially for people with chronic illnesses like type 1 diabetes.
Ya, as soon as you mentioned SA without so much as a whisper about the extremely high violent crime rate in Joberg I knew this wasn't well done. I highly suggest that anyone watching this please do your own background checks and reading. No offense meant to you personally Adventure Freaksss, but that is definitely a really bad suggestion.
Some people give recommendation India or Malaysia as their retirement destinations to avoiding country language barrier.
Well, i so greatful tbh Bali island in Indonesia were not one of the country that get to notice. This one island now much crowded than before the pandemic from last years, since too many expats that run away from their "home" during military assignment.
Even the neighbour islands like Lombok and NTT, which both known as laid-back island due the quiet atmosphere, but are now slowly developing for new homes for expats who lease land from the locals.
Thank you for sharing this!
India, great choice indeed.
Foreigners can only stay in India of 6 months a year at most.
I hope to get "retirement" visa, not sure yet ! maybe Paraguay, Bulgaria, Portugal.
All great choices!
What about Malaysia? 🤔
We'll have to include them on the next go around as Malaysia is becoming a digital nomad hotspot and everyone loves it there!
Yeah, it's affordable, a former British colony and English is widely spoken (supposedly), so that's why I was wondering.
Great country, very affordable, but residency through the MM2H program has become expensive.
India is a hidden gem. From snowy Himalayas, to the desert to bustling metros...the landscape is as diverse as their people, food and culture.
True. But pollution and piles of garbage everywhere are a huge drawback.
How affordable is Guyana? English is the official language of Guyana. And Belize gets all the attention, and people tend to forget it exists.
So interesting that you mentioned this. I was researching Guyana last night! It definitely deserves a mention. Thank you!
@@adventurefreaksss I had forgotten about it too. The only thing most Americans know about the country (if they know anything about it at all) is that Jim Jones set up his colony there.
@@adventurefreaksss I had heard that Guyana is not particularly safe? Did I hear incorrectly?
@@CCoburn3 And you just reminded me of that. Geez, we're old:)
@@Emily-gk5yo Guyana has faced political challenges and widespread poverty, which can contribute to higher crime rates as some people resort to theft out of survival. That said, it’s a beautiful country with a warm and welcoming culture. When visiting or relocating to any economically challenged country, it’s important to stay aware, be cautious, and approach the experience with empathy and understanding.

👍India was a surprise . No one talks about that. Hmmmmm.🪻
I agree. Until now, I never considered India
I rather stay in US than move to India 🇮🇳...I don't like to use this stereotype but 99% of Indian people i met smelled very badly.
Don't say that
I spent 3 weeks in a village in india
Near rajamundri!!they smell like other humans
I never smelled anything unusual
Any human without enough water to bathe with no deodorant can smell
If u could say u don't like to see people doing their toilet on the side walk of a street yes
That's the only thing i didn't like@shabadime10
I love India. The food alone is a huge draw for me:)
@adventurefreaksss india?overcrowded in cities though
They are 1.5 billion
On a small land and hot and humid
