the other day i referred to pseudocydonia japonica, i was mixed up and meant chaenomeles japonica. (there are hardier japanese varieties)
Ah yes, i was wondering. I read that it is kind of frost sensitive.
did you like japonica or cathayensis better?
The flavour was different, a matter of taste, i think. But the Pink Lady was definitely superiour. I would plant this one.
